Fun Fact: This was the first cosplay I competed in and was bumped to Master Division and won at Anime Alpha! It was shocking but also a wonderful door that opened. Never looking back <3

My favorite photo from the con. I talked to and ran into this Madame Red several times. The people who took this commented that they finally found the two of us in the same space. I just got really creative and pulled a servant like pose.

I had such an amazing time at Anime Alpha this weekend! Got to meet the Lovely Jessica Nigri and the incredible Zach Callison, as well as win Best in Show in the cosplay contest! I have signatures from all the judges on a copy of Cos Culture magazine, one from Jessica and FakeNerdBoy on a print of her Kindred, one from Zach on an official Steven Universe print, and one from Yaya Han on one of her McCalls patterns!  Along with some art and my trophy, I also won $200 worth of LED lighting for our work space and will get to set up a photoshoot time for a feature in Cos Culture magazine! This is the biggest award that I think Brian and I have ever received!  I’m so grateful to him for helping me with my geta for Ashura and for supporting me when I wasn’t even sure I would compete.
