Junpei - or "J. P." - uses the Human Spirit of Electricity to become Beetlemon, and the Beast Spirit of Electricity to become MetalKabuterimon. Though we never see it on-screen, by combining the spirits, he can become RhinoKabuterimon.

While we never see it happen in the anime, certain sources suggest that JP could have become KoKabuterimon under certain circumstances.

While we never see it happen in the anime, certain sources suggest that Zoe could have become Tinkermon under certain circumstances.

Koichi uses the Human Spirit of Darkness to become Loweemon, and the Beast Spirit of Darkness to become KaiserLeomon. Though we never see it on-screen, by combining the spirits, he can become Rhihimon.

While we never see it happen in the anime, certain sources suggest that Tommy could have become Liollmon under certain circumstances.

Digimon Tamers starred Takato Matsuki and his partner Guilmon, Henry Wong and his partner Terriermon, and Rika Nonaka and her partner Renamon.

Guilmon was capable of Digivolving to Growlmon, and further into War Growlmon. When Bio-merged with Takato, they became Gallantmon. When Guilmon had to return to the Digital World, it reverted to Gigimon.

Terriermon was capable of Digivolving to Gargomon and Rapidmon. When Bio-merged with Henry, they became MegaGargomon. When they parted ways, Terriermon reverted to Gummymon.

Rika's partner Renamon was capable of Digivolving to Kyubimon, and then to Taomon. When the two Bio-merged, they became Sakuyamon. When Renamon had to leave, it reverted to Viximon.

After Kurata blew apart the walls between the Digital World and human world of Digimon Savers, the god of all Digimon Yggdrasil - also known as King Drasil because Norse is too complicated for Americans apparently - sent its Royal Knights to destroy Earth in an attempt to save the Digital World.

Not all of the Royal Knights appeared in Digimon Savers, but here's the full lot of them anyway.

It was quite odd seeing Omnimon, Gallantmon, and Magnamon in "bad guy" roles.

Dynasmon and LordKnightmon ought to be familiar villains to those who saw Digimon Frontier.

Craniamon and Leopardmon made appearances, and Kentaurusmon was a surprise as it turned out to be Kudamon all along. He was a little spy!

Gankoomon (and his apprentice SaviorHuckmon), Jesmon, Examon, and Alphamon were missing from the line-up.

Michael Jackson uses the Spirit of Lucifer to become Lucemon.

It was in Digimon Frontier: Island of the Lost Digimon that Takuya and Koji uncovered the truth about where their Spirits come from. It is thanks to AncientGreymon that Takuya can Evolve into Flamemon, Agunimon, BurningGreymon, and Aldamon.

Koichi used the corrupted Human Spirit of Darkness to become Duskmon, and the corrupted Beast Spirit of Darkness to become Velgrmon. Though we never see it on-screen, some sources suggest that, by combining the spirits, he could have become Oboromon.
