You guys forget I literally have only seen like 10 anime and half of them were gay.
1. Haikyuu!! Because I’ve never seen such strong story telling before that gives so much background and shape to all of its characters without seeming superfluous. It’s all so well executed. Even if you’re not into sports like this makes you forget all about that aspect of it. Watching the anime there’s no real like “fanservice” moments I guess is what they’re called? Like to me it just feels like yes this is some good plot right here. I love it.
2. Beautiful Bones. I really liked the art in this! It was sort of like a crime/detective kind of thing and idk I just really liked the story. Dark enough without scaring the complete shit out of me because I’m a weenie lol.
3. Gekkan Shoujou Nozaki-kun. I have never laughed. so much. in my entire life. Like this whole show was just so freaking great omg XD It’s good friendship shit and they just all look out for each other in their own way and none of them get together because they’re just idiots. But it’s perfect.
4. Kids on the Slope. God this one was just. I binged it when I was sick and I was not disappointed. First of all it’s like about this group of kids who just start playing jazz and shit after school and they all get really close. Good slice of life shit. And it’s that happy sadness kind of feeling. Just. Please watch it. It was really well done.
5. I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying. Idk if this counts since it’s one of those 3-minute episode things but it was absolutely hilarious and lots of fun haha. And I feel like they really got a lot done in just the three minutes you have to meet the characters and really get a feel for them so I find that impressive.
6. Sakamoto Desu Ga? This one is great!! I feel like the hype was sort of there on Tumblr when this came out but like not really at the same time. Please watch this if you get the chance it was so fantastic. This guy is like the Mary Poppins of High School, just being amazing and fixing shit until he moves on since he’s no longer needed haha. Great for laughs and some touchy feely moments too :) Also the fucking theme is great.
