GENESIS is a bold, stylized animated epic that pushes the boundaries of Biblical storytelling for a Teen to Adult audience.

✨We think there are quite a bit of those who are following assuming our GENESIS project would be strictly 2D, (based on our concept art) and definitely don’t want to disappoint anyone saying it’s not going to be just that…BUT we always intended to have more of a 3D feel to it, with some 2D hybrid qualities to it! So yes, 2D will play a part (with surprises mixed in, here’s hoping story-wise) , but we really want a lot of a stylistic, real world sensibilities and scale to this world, clothing textiles, hair textures, etc. , and having this world feel lush and believable, that lend itself to having this feeling that you may get more in 3D technology. At least that’s our main reason for it! We know people always mention or reference the likes of animation trends of what’s going on today, but we hope to find something that feels unique to the project itself, and not become another carbon copy! ✨We want to get super close to our concept art, trust us! But it’s just concept art! Things are bound to change, many times during to budget and technological limits! ✨We’ll do our best to make it look and feel interesting, of course! But if something has been done already, why repeat it over and over?l We are really thinking about to make it (hopefully) stand out on its own, in the least pretentious sounding way as possible! ✨Let’s just say, if we make the CG look just like this painting in the image below, will anyone be upset? Haha! Just trust us on this! We’ll find a way to make space for both of those technological worlds if we get far enough! ✨Well, we hope most of you are willing to still help the project once it launches on Kickstarter May 5th!
