Today's banana bread, and this time I can't even be mad at my youngest nephew if he tries to steal a piece before it cools because it's his favorite.
He's probably gonna inhale half of it in the next thirty minutes. 😂

I finally jumped on the quarantine bread train with Irish soda bread.
Thank you @lunafrak for the delicious pumpkin pie recipe, it was a success with the family ❤️
It might not be a pretty one, but gluten free base is not always cooperative.. but it was so tasty!
guess who made homemade croissants bitches
I’m making a ton of cute lil desserts inspired by musicals for when my friend comes over and we book stuff for our NYC trip! Would anyone be interested if I posted how I made them? They’re very very lowkey based off Amelie, Waitress, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Anastasia, Dear Evan Hansen, and Hamilton!
So I also made successful cream puffs to nom on if the souffles don’t work. Because cream puffs are pretty easy, as long as you don’t break the chocolate sauce or the creme pat. Which I didn’t, so yay!
Tried to make a traditional Irish sodabread tonight.
Lesson learned - me and bread doughs just... don’t work.
At least the result was delicious though.
will try again next time, and maybe I’ll use more flour than the barefoot contessa recommended because that dough was so fucking wet I couldn’t work it at all!
alternatively, maybe I needed to curdle the buttermilk some more via more lemon juice (and balanced increase in baking powder of 4:1 lemon juice:baking soda) so that it’s not as liquidy, or even use whole milk instead of skim - which may cause the fucking overly wet dough!
