Leap Year - An Inukag AU

Has anyone else seen the movie Leap Year? It has Inukag romance written all over it.

Here’s the trailer for those who haven’t seen it yet:

Here’s a basic 2 paragraph plot summary for those who didn’t watch the trailer:

Anna (Amy Adams) is an interior decorator who thinks she is about to be engaged to her boyfriend, Jeremy (Adam Scott). Well, it turns out on their anniversary, he only gets her a pair of earrings and tells her he’s going to Dublin, Ireland for a conference. In Ireland, they have a tradition where a woman can propose to her boyfriend on a Leap Day (February 29th), so Anna decides to fly to Ireland to surprise Jeremy and propose.

Due to weather, Anna arrives in Cork, Ireland, and has to find a way to Dublin for the Leap Day. She wanders into this pub to find a place to stay and a ride for the morning. There, she meets Declan (Matthew Goode), who’s a bit rough around the edges, but offers her a ride to Dublin. Let’s just say that trip to Dublin gives them new perspectives about each other, and that’s all I’m going to say. I don’t want to spoil the rest of the plot if you haven’t seen it.

ANYWAY, after watching it, my mind went to Inukag because Kagome is a lot like Anna, and Inuyasha is a lot like Declan.
