So the internet is down at my place, so my brother and I have been using my personal hotspot (it seems to be faster for whatever reason) for class and leisure, anyway, all this to say I ended up watching tv for the first time in a while and caught most of a film called “My Sister’s Keeper.” Both the book and the film have been on my radar for a while (and I had been spoiled on the plot via youtube, I think), but I was still blown away by it. So heartbreaking and really compelling. To my understanding the book and the film have different endings, so i’ll now definitely be on the lookout for a copy of it to see what was changed.
Not to link everything I interact with to 9-1-1 (I cannot help it, i’m obsessed!)… But Buck meeting another Saviour Baby (or, better yet, a Designer Baby) would be the perfect trigger for the breakdown we all think he’s gonna have this season. Probably won’t happen but. Could you imagine? It’s right up the alley for this show, and we’ve had some strange coincidences already, so why not?
Finished reading My Sister's Keeper about an hour ago- it was the most heart-wrenching bittersweet ending ever. Ultimately a really good read that I really recommend.
Side note, Alec Baldwain did a great job playing Campbell Alexander but he was the complete opposite of what I imagined Campbell to be.
Sara Fitzgerald: Oh my God, you're good. You're really good. You know, I've seen your commercials, right? I mean, who hasn't? And I always thought that you were some sort of headline-seeking hack. But you have real talent. You almost had me believing that you cared about Anna.
