I love Anna Henrietta so much, i love when women are fucking insane, esp like

She is so ruthlessly attached to her values, many of which are intrinsically linked to her seat as duchess, and she is so comfortable in her command that she will throw aside certain frivolities

Not because she doesn't see the value in, for example, not stripping off the modesty of her gown in the midst of courtly proceedings, but bc she is making a rapid risk and value assessment of what should come first and what should come second or further

The implications of her personal life and certain favours and privileges she extends in private but w the acknowledgement that SWIFT consequences will be brought down if these aren't taken seriously

She is just so fun
