Frozen, modern AU, Anna and Elsa...

Anna’s phone started ringing. 

“Hello?”

“It’s Elsa, look, I’m going to need you to check on something.”

“You could have asked if I was busy first or something.”

“Sorry, are you busy, Anna?” 

“No, but thanks for asking.”

Elsa sighed. “Fine, can you go up to the attic, you know, where all the boxes are stored?”

“I can, Elsa, but why now?”

“I have my reasons, but can you go up there, please?”

“Fine,” Anna groaned. She set down the phone to open the attic stairs.

“Did you plan for this to happen?” Anna asked.

“I promise you I didn’t.”

Party's Over

A little modern AU Frozen...

“No, you won’t understand, ever!” Anna screamed. 

“You really think that?” Elsa asked, trying to keep her cool.

“After all these years, I meet someone, and you just try to break it up!”

“You left for your spring break trip a week ago, and came home telling me you’re getting married, Anna, I’m just asking you to slow things down.”

They heard a throat clearing. It was Hans.

“Uh, hey, so… I didn’t mean to disrupt your party here.”

“I think it’s best if everyone just goes home,” Elsa said.

“If you’re making him go, I’m going, too!” Anna exclaimed.

Elsa adored Anna, more than anyone else in the world. And, now that they were close again, Elsa would do anything to make Anna smile.

Her birthday, recently, had gone alright, despite Elsa’s cold. She felt bad the day had been cut short, but, she knew Anna had fun.

Elsa sat in the library, going over some old books as she sipped some tea. She wondered if Anna would be going to spend time with Kristoff today or if she would want to have tea with her.

She pushed herself up and walked down the hall towards Anna’s room. She knocked on the door. “Anna? Care to join me for tea?”

It felt like she was getting to know her sister all over again. Did they even know each other? They had been separated for years. They were basically strangers.

Anna knew it was silly to hope they would be super close right away. Anna knew it was to much to hope. But, still, she felt like they had a good start. They weren’t as awkward together as she originally thought they might be.

But! Today was a big day! She had set up an entire day for just her and Elsa. She had a picnic and everything ready to go! They were going to go just outside the gates to a small clearing and have a nice meal together, and then they would come back and have a new painting done of them together. They hadn’t had one since before their parents died.

“Elsa! Elsa!” She cried out, rushing into her sister’s room. “It’s time to start the day!”
