yeah, so annakendorks tagged me in one of those question things so

1. If you were getting a tattoo what would you get and where 

there are a few tattoos i want. i want to one day get mountains on my back, i want a really small wolf somewhere, i want some lines from t.s. eliot poems in a couple places, i kinda want 'no ragrets' somewhere small, and in general i want lots of words on me.

2. what’s a tv show you don’t like to admit you watch but you really enjoy it? 

i don't think there's anything i don't like to admit to watching rly. i mean i watch trash like big brother and made in chelsea sometimes but i have no shame about that i love them.

4. favourite OINTB character and why? 

i think either cosima or alison

5. Is there any movie or tv show you want to watch/ rewatch

i rly want to watch the rest of buffy and the x-files but i haven't watched either in ages. and then there's stuff like community, parks and rec, firefly and dollhouse that i always wanna rewatch

7. If you could move to any one country and stay there where would you go?

uh i kinda already did. i moved to England 

8. How long do you reckon you could live on an isolated island for with a 2 tonne box of nutella?

idk man that nutella would only last me like 3 days so probably not long. then again, who knows, maybe i'd be good at fishing

9. What is the most embarrassing injury you’ve received? 

uh one time i broke my pinkie from skipping past a cupboard and hitting my hand on it. that was a little embarrassing i guess.

10. Have you seen a movie recently that you came out of and thought was a complete waste of money/time?

the only one i can think of wasn't at all recent but this is the end was a huge waste of time and money. like it was fun to go see a movie with my friend i guess but wow what a shit film.

11. my cat keeps waking me up at 6am how do you suggest i fix this?

wake your cat up at 5am, see how they like it

1. If you were getting a tattoo what would you get and where? 

Well, I've got one already, but for a few years now I've wanted to get a maple tree on the right side of my back, with four branches; spring, summer, fall, and winter.

2. what’s a tv show you don’t like to admit you watch but you really enjoy it? 

Hmm, I dunno. There's nothing I wouldn't admit to watching? Lately I'm re-watching Gilmore Girls and Supernatural (with Mark Watches), and I put on Magic School Bus when I need something bright and not mind-numbing for Evelyn, lol. (I learned waaay more than I wanted to about chicken eggs the other day btw) 

3. icy poles or golden gaytimes? 

I'm guessing those are delicious icy Aussie treats, but as a Canadian I've got bad memories of the time I licked a frozen fence post, so I'll have to go with golden gaytimes. (also, it sounds more fun)

4. favourite OINTB character and why? 

I really like a lot of them, especially as we saw more of their backstories. I think my top twothree might be Sophia (she's magnificent), Poussay and Taystee (shhh I'm counting them together bc they're the best) , and Red (bc I think I'm going to end up crochety and sassy like her when I'm old, lol).

5. Is there any movie or tv show you want to watch/ rewatch

I'm re-watching Gilmore Girls and Friends right now, but I've been meaning to actually watch Agents of SHIELD since it started, and I'm excited for Agent Carter.

6. all time favourite album and favourite song off the album?

Ohhhh gosh. I have no idea. Every time I thought of one I thought of another right after. How about this: The first CD I ever bought with my own money was Aqua's Aquarius, the first cassette I stole from my brother was the London cast edition of Les Miserables, and the CD I bought when I fell in love was Green Day's American Idiot. (and I also love Great Big Sea, Daft Punk, and Vivaldi's Four Seasons, OTL)

7. If you could move to any one country and stay there where would you go?

Which country has warm sandy beaches and palm trees I can hang a hammock under, but also a beautiful lake surrounded by pine trees and maples where I can sit in my cozy cottage and watch the snow fall? That country.

8. How long do you reckon you could live on an isolated island for with a 2 tonne box of nutella?

How big is the spoon? Also, does Nutella float? I could probably make a raft with empty Nutella bottles..... Wait. Do I have a hammock and books? Because then I'd say as long as the Nutella lasts.

9. What is the most embarrassing injury you’ve received? 

I fainted off the stage at the dress rehearsal of the Christmas Pageant in grade 7 in front of the 3-5 year old class, and they all thought I had died, so when I returned to school (a super Christian school) three days later they asked me what it was like to die. Because no one had explained to them what had happened, but to them dying and coming back 3 days later was totally normal. Also it was apparently a school-wide project to write me get well soon cards? So when I opened my locker a flood of colourful paper flooded out around my ankles like something from a cartoon.

10. Have you seen a movie recently that you came out of and thought was a complete waste of money/time?

Lucy. We missed the showing for Guardians of the Galaxy and we saw it instead and it was not worth it in the least. We should have left and gotten our money back.

11. my cat keeps waking me up at 6am how do you suggest i fix this?

If I can figure out how to get my baby to stop waking me up at 3am, I'll let you know, lol.

Questions:

(Which were very hard to answer!)

1. What is your favourite/default outfit?

My default outfit will always involve skinny jeans, just because I love wearing them (clearly I don't tend to cope too well in summer so my dress sense switches on for winter only). So what I'd wear would be jeans, boots, a plain t-shirt and a jacket or blazer. Colour would come from accessories or the jacket usually.

2. If you were stranded on a desert island alone what three things (apart from water, food blah blah all thats taken care of) would you take with you? Choose wisely >v<

Chose wisely oh dear. Well what strikes me first is to bring some sort of escape method, but let's be realistic here if I got stranded on a deserted island there would be no way I could escape by myself - I do not have the wildlife skills for this. So I would be hanging around for someone to rescue me. I want to say that I'd bring a friend or something, but I don't actually think I'd want to condemn them to being stuck with me on an island with all the bugs and stuff. So to pass the time I would bring a book, a grand piano and cadbury chocolate.

3. What is a dream job that you think you probably won’t end up doing?

I'm in my last year of high school so I am currently trying to decide on a career and that stumps me just as much as this question. But if this is truly a dream job that I won't end up doing here goes - I would like to be help assylum seekers and get them some rights and decent treatment in my country as a volunteer (I hope I do actually do this), or as a lawyer or something who has studied at universities and lived in college. Following this I would become a successful writer who is invited to speak all over the world, hence lots of travelling. When I return home from touring I'd like to continue writing but on the weekends I would be a sports commentator for Australian Rules Football (and maybe even be invited to do some commentary work for SBS during the Tour de France). In my spare time I would learn to play piano and write songs. Warned you 'dream' and job[s]' didn't I?

4. If you could be someone for a day who would it be?

I would be either a highly skilled doctor so I would know what it was like to save someone's life or change it completely, or Cassandra Clare so I would have insight into how to achieve perfect humour. If I could be a fictional character and enter their world I would be either someone deeply loved like Elizabeth Bennet or someone with an awesome talent or power like Hermione Granger.

5. Who is your favourite painter/artist? 

Art isn't my strong suit and my interest in it should be greater, but I will say Van Gogh because colour and texture and wow and I've actually seen his paintings in the Musée d'Orsay, which was a pretty cool experience. Plus my friend Lauren is an amazing drawer and I always love seeing her work.

6. Name something you’d like to do before you’re 21 (assuming you’re under 21 of course ..)

I would like to have my driver's license by then please. The rate I am going it looks like I'll be 30.

7. Pet hates?

People who crack their knuckles or bite their nails! Where I can hear/see! Also people who tell me off for dog-earing my books or bending the spine. Sorrrryy not sorry it's a sign of love. Also people who don't like movies. Something's wrong there. And I am deeply mistrustful of vegetarians, though I recognise that that is a personal choice and that this list is long.

8. Famous people you dislike? Why?

Justin Bieber. I don't like the way he's received unnecessary abuse and hurtful comments about his music and looks etc. but he comes across as just so arrogant and acts like he is a gift to the world and from what I read in the newspaper the other day he is a little primadonna. I also don't like Eddie McGuire (Australian personality) because ugh. But I don't really have many thoughts on famous people to be completely honest.

9. Describe yourself in a sentence.

A walking contradiction who tries to make the best of things.

10. Favourite sound?

It's cliche but I love the sound of rain pattering against my bedroom window. I also love the sound of a beautifully played violin or cello, not that I listen to that often though in fact extremely rarely.

11. What fictional character would you most like to meet in person?

This is very, very hard. Okay, well, I would pick a character who is either very original and unlikely to meet a similar person in real life or I would choose a character who I have all these unanswered questions about so I can find out why they acted the way they did. But I actually have no idea so I'll just say a character I admire, which is Charlie Peaceful.

Yes, it is finally happening: I am changing my URL. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you as I suddenly appear on your dash and you have no idea who I am. Most of you probably think nothingseverthatsimple is some hipster URL (it isn't) but it is my first (embarrassment), and after years on here I think it's time for a change. For the month of March in celebration of Clockwork Princess I'm changing my URL to mstessagray (I will probably change it again after a month or so - sorryyyy again in advance. And that's just because I'm so multifandom and other random stuff that having a dedicated URL for a long period would feel weird!)

Before I change, I just want to say a big thank you to the people who have made tumblr well worth my while. I'm in year 12 (my final year of high school) this year so I may not be on as much.
