Bright eyes
I once laughed so often, smiled so big, trusted that everyone meant as well as I did, and I walked blindly, with arms wide open, and with a heart full of love, in the direction of anyone who seemed alone. I once had bright eyes, filled with hope for life. I stopped laughing at everything, because it annoyed everyone. I stopped smiling so much, because it wasn't pretty. I stopped loving so much, because people kept leaving me empty, and they didn't care. I lost the light in my eyes, the hope, when I was laying in bed and crying alone, for the first time, and I realized there was nothing to be hopeful for. But now I hope that one day someone makes me laugh at everything, because they love hearing it. I hope they compliment my smile, and say sweet things, just to see it. I hope I trust them with life, and I hope that I walk arms and eyes wide open into love with them, see every flaw, that they see my every flaw, and we still love each other so much, that we couldn't imagine a life apart. I hope they fix every empty part, and fill it with love. I hope they hold me at night when I cry, and I hope that when my eyes dry, they are bright and full of hope, once again.
