Hey, I have no idea if you do requests but I like your writing a lot - could you write some Lucette x Annice?
I hope I could deliver!!!
(IT’S EDITED NOW bc I’m home)
Hope
Hope was such a fickle thing.
So gentle to the touch, so incredibly soft and so easily crushed by the heaviness of the world.
For Lucette hope had been a rumor, a myth for most of her life. Hope meant nothing when you were certain that everybody hated you, when even your own father replaced you with a new family.
She never believed in hope, only in the certainty of her own strength, she believed in her mother and the love they shared.
There was nothing else, there should have been nothing else. Lucette was content with the life she led, she didn‘t need anything else!
And suddenly her entire life shifted in a single moment.
Everything Lucette thought she knew was shattered, was crushed and utterly destroyed. But Lucette was strong. She accepted her fate and dealt with it like the princess she was.
And yet she never hoped for a better future the princess just wanted her old life back.
And she knew that it would be lonely and she knew that it was sad, but it was what she knew.
And suddenly, just like that there was a beacon of light.
Soft hands that were caressing Lucette‘s swollen feet, gentle hands that wrapped her feet in soft linen.
Lucette watched confused as a the young woman took care of her. She took care of the princess that fired, even though the girl couldn‘t remember it.
Lucette wanted to hate Annice, because she still believed that her old life with her mother had been perfect. That the lessons Lucette had been thought were right and infallible.
Nobody was that kind and didn‘t have an ulterior motive!
And yet… Annice destroyed all of Lucette‘s prejudices with a million kind words and gestures.
Annice was… good just so incredibly good.
During Lucette‘s time in the Marchen Annice had been her rock.
Annice taught her what kindness actually meant, that selflessness didn‘t have to mean weakness, that it‘s also a sign of strength. That you don‘t have to be cruel to stand your ground.
Every wall Lucette had built in her lifetime crumbled under Annice‘s gentle smile and soft touch.
Annice filled the empty spaces in Lucette’s heart and Lucette fell deep and hard.
The princess was in love for the first time in her life.
And Lucette immediately distanced herself from Annice. She wouldn‘t be able to survive another rejection. She couldn’t take that risk!
After all hope was such a fickle thing.
A myth that people used to make themself feel better. Annice would never accept Lucette‘s feelings…
But one day Annice had had enough, she wasn‘t dumb. She felt Lucette‘s lingering gaze on her back, a hot trail of fire that ran down her spine.
She had been in love with the princess for months now but she knew that she had to wait.
But enough was enough, Annice was fed up with pining and the waiting.
She pulled the princess into her room. Lucette‘s back was pressed against the wall, caged in by Annice‘s body and arms. Lucette‘s heart was pounding inside of her chest. She couldn‘t find the words, she didn‘t know what she had done wrong! She felt so small under Annice‘s gaze and… Lucette froze as Annice pressed her lips against Lucette‘s.
The silence was deafening, their lips still locked in a silent embrace. Lucette could feel Annice‘s gentle smile under her own lips. Those soft hands caressed her face, like she was the most precious thing in the world.
