so how do we think Gabi is gonna react when she finds out Annie was groomed by Sir and was in on it the whole time scoping out new targets for him... cause that's gotta be what they're going for, right? i hope Annie is still alive and maybe even searching for Sir herself after she lost contact with him when Gabi took him. that would create a new VERY fascinating and tragic antagonist for Gabi as she keeps trying to hide Sir.

theory about the finale: trent's text message to gabi is about annie; she's actually still alive and was working with sir and/or stalking gabi in the present day before faking her death in the car accident. and sir's escaped the basement because he has to find annie before annie finds gabi and/or him (and why else would he leave unless he felt like he or gabi was in danger? gabi called him out about wanting to be in her basement. i don't think he'd actually leave unless he was forced to leave or felt like he had no other choice).

there was just something about the kidnapper couple, with the wife posing as a victim but actually being complicit in the kidnappings and murders, made me think of sir and annie...

Is anyone else really disappointed in where they're going with the Annie story? It feels too neat and fast to wrap it up, considering they laid the groundwork early in the season. I really hope there is another twist to come.

In 1842, British scientist Sir John Herschel experimented with the effect of light on iron compounds, inventing a process to produce the blue-tinted prints we know as cyanotypes. While one of the most widely used photographic processes at the turn of the 19th to the 20th century, the cyanotype faded largely from popular use during World War I as black-and-white images were increasingly perceived as more fashionable. Often downplayed within the history of photography, the blue images finally have their first major museum exhibition in the US at the Worcester Art Museum, organized in collaboration with Clark University. Cyanotypes: Photography’s Blue Period explores 150 years of the cyanotype, examining the many ways around 40 artists have experimented with it to create expressive works from a process cherished for its speed and ease — characteristics that also caused many to fail to appreciate them.
