‎Alhaitham adores reading to you, he loves the way you rest your head in his lap looking up at him with those pretty little eyes that drive him insane as he reads what everyone book he has at the moment to you.

‎those small yet intimate moments you two have make him feel *whole* in a way.

‎he has quite a few pet names for you but the most common ones that you hear from him are, ‘dearest’ ‘beloved’ & ‘beautiful’ if he had to chose, ‘dearest’ would be his favorite.

‎Alhaitham calls you a distraction, a very welcome one at that. whenever he's studying for an exam or anything that requires him to focus he always finds his mind and gaze drifting towards you. sometimes when he's supposed to be fully engrossed in something important you will look up from whatever you were doing and catch him staring at you with a red tint brushed lightly on his face, quickly turning away once you look up.

‎I soul heartedly feel that when he's spooning you he always waits for you to doze off to sleep first so he can fall asleep shortly after, he doesn't know why you have to fall asleep first you just have to or else he's...uneasy? he doesn't know how to describe it.

‎Alhaitham will gladly assist you In your studies if you ask him for a little help when studying. he doesn't see it as a chore to help you, hes simply helping one of the most important people in his life.

‎this man loves kissing you I don't care what you say argue with the wall. he loves your lips so much, he craves them so badly. you could be doing anything and you feel him behind you as he grabs your face so you can turn around and kiss him.

‎his favorite places to kiss you other than your lips are your neck, spine, and collar bones. you could just be lying down on your stomach wearing a backless top or something and you will fell him placing kisses up and all over your spine.

‎Alhaitham has chronically cold hands and when I say cold I mean freezing. the first time you held hands with him you flinched, he just chuckled in response, he knew his hands were cold just not that cold to the point where you are flinching.

‎if Alhaitham were to have a favorite flower I believe it would be water lilys, in his eyes they are beautiful just like the person he loves the most.

‎he loves you so much to the point where he can't even explain it properly. he doesn't remember when you flipped his world, all he knows is that he's extremely grateful that your in his life now.

‎I don't feel like Alhaitham is really the jealous type like he won't go out his way to curse out any one that makes a move on you. but he can get jelly and when he does...good luck to whoever was flirting with you

‎sometimes he just stares at you in pure silence, not braking eye contact. you will tilt your head and try and speak but he doesn't respond until you snap your fingers in his face.

⟢ Baizhu isn’t a particularly emotionally inclined man. He’s always so very busy and always so very tired. In all honesty, he tends to put his emotional needs on the back burner most of the time. So, he probably wouldn’t realize for quite a while that he liked you like that.

⟢ Don’t get me wrong—the signs would definitely be there. He’d just... ignore them. Strategically. The way he seeks out your presence? You’re just entertaining, that’s all. The way he teases and jokes around with you? Your reactions are simply too fun to pass up.

⟢ Eventually, though, Chansheng gets sick of his quote unquote "not" pining. The serpent doesn’t especially like people, but ultimately she does want to see him happy, and she supposes that if you’re the one who does that for him, then so be it.

⟢ Thus, it comes as no surprise that Baizhu’s reptilian companion is the one who actually pushes him to fully accept—or at the very least realize—that he may, in fact, have developed feelings for you. However, actually telling you how he feels is a whole separate ordeal.

⟢ He has absolutely no intention of spilling his guts to you—at least not anytime soon. He comes with a lot of... baggage. He’s ill first and foremost and he's constantly chasing the possibility of eternal life, a possibility that oftentimes feels almost unattainable. Baizhu believes he isn’t the type of person suited for or worthy of a long-term relationship, especially with someone like you. That doesn’t mean he can’t desire. No, no. He just doesn’t believe he’s the type of man you deserve.
