"How long can he stay on his clowny form, at will?"

Oo good questions!

1.) Renn can maintain his form for quite a few hours if he wanted! It actually takes quite a bit of effort to change back at will. 2.) They do! His night vision gets craaazy good, & his range of hearing is slightly better. 3.) Unconscious wereclown is extremely animated and lithe, and though he can’t speak, he vocalizes a lot. Plus he has no sense of personal space. His purpose was to capture people for the Jester after all. 😬 A polar opposite to Conscious Renn. XD

WELL I MEAN IF YOU INSIST-

Anyway firstly lets get this out of the way xmen 2000 is my favorite xmen movie. Its such a delicious reimagining of these iconic characters, and while it's cheesy as hell [im looking at you toad struck by lightning line] its also so good at pushing the metaphor of the comics. [X2 is also brilliant btw. Those are the best xmen movies and i will not be taking criticism at this time]

Smth i really like [abt this AND x2] is that you can tell that these are supposed to be more inexperienced or younger xmen like. They dont fight much. They're not fully trained. It SHOWS and i really like that [its also why i think x2's kurt is so good but thats a ramble for another day]

Also the cast for this flick is just,,,, ough,,, chefs KISS [though i will say i think they should have let Halle berry be american instead of her putting on that quote unquote african accent. Storm was born in harlem after all]. Ian mckellen and Patrick stewart were practically fucking born to play magneto and professor x bc like. You can feel the bitterness radiating from erik you can FEEL the hope that charles has and by god you can feel how much they still care for one another. Its incredible

Famke janssen is a WONDERFUL jean, particularly in this movie, i wish they hadnt sexied her up from the sequel onwards bc i mean. Look at her. Shes gorgeous.

She's got that sort of quiet, teasing energy that i really like abt jean

anna paquin as rogue,,,,, my sweet baby,,,,, my pumkin pie,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, while shes definitely softer and shyer and less fiery than other versions of rogue i still enjoy her immensely bc im a sucker. Also her relationship with logan,,,,,, fambily,,,, oug

LOGAN. The fact you can tell right from the get go that hes not angry so much as he is just fucking exhausted,,,,, the vulnerability that radiates from him,,,,, the fact hes so emotional like that scene where he accidentally stabs rogue and you can see tears in his eyes and hes like frozen in shock??? The fact that the main focus of the movie aside from the mutant metaphor is his relationship with rogue....The Train Scene. The Fact He Kisses Jeans Hand At Some Point.I love him. I LOVE HIM i love him i love him

THE SOUNDTRACK. God i wish we'd gotten an official version bc some of the score in this film makes me bounce off the fucking walls. That track that plays when logan wakes up after fully regenerating??? OUGH

Really my only complaint aside from the usual bad dialog choices and the bullshit logan/jean romance [which i will hate until the day i die sorry lads] is that they removed the fact that logan sketched to calm himself down in the og script and that jean was originally very vocal abt how uninterested in logan she was, and how he leaves her alone. Good shit.

Other than that I Love This Fucking Movie A Normal Amount.

It's good that you liked the WBL series, the truth is that I do not agree with some decisions of Gao Shi De (especially in season 2) but I like the fact that his love is unconditional, he really did not expect his love was reciprocated.
