how i read these days
After starting and stopping for years with this book I finally finished reading (and annotating) this version of Hamlet by William Shakespeare (I have a few more old ones of this play) and I’m so proud of myself. I’ve never managed to finish reading any of his work 😅 not to mention is the first time annotating any book I’ve read 😅 #hamlet #williamshakespeare #bookannotations #annotatingbooks #bookstagram #reading #readmore2022 #readingmore2022 #books #collinsclassicsbooks #shakespeare https://www.instagram.com/p/Cb_I_f0MZQg/?utm_medium=tumblr
My life changed when i started annotating my books 📚❤ I tried writing them down on my supposed book journal but it was too much of a hassle and my reading gets interrupted. I actually didn't get to do this before since i just borrowed books when I was high school. But since i buy my own books now, i have the liberty to do so. I thought i can't do it before since I was afraid of causing damage to the books, but when i started doing it, i cannot even not do it. I feel like i made the book more personal when i annotate. It also helps my memory as I get to remember the stories more. And i color code my tabs so when i see them again, i know what i felt or what it meant especially when i go back to my books. So full of raw emotions. Book: Rebel by Marie Lu Do you annotate your books? About a 150 pages into my book and I decided I didn't like writing all my notes down into a notebook while reading. So I went and got page tabs and sticky notes to start annotating my books. I've seen multiple booktubers do this and decided to give it a try. This is faster for me because I can keep reading and go back later having everything marked and noted and I already love it! #reading #annotating #annotatingbooks #clockworkprincess #cassandraclare #bookreviews #bookseries #books #booktube #stickynotes #bookblogger #bookblog #coffeechildrenchaos #coffee_time https://www.instagram.com/p/B1Qw97hAhvx/?igshid=f8ytay9jinj4
To annotate or not to annotate! The age-old question!! Annotating helps us understand the story much better. It builds a more emotional connection with the characters. I always hesitated thinking that I would ruin the book. Turns out, sometimes that's all we need to get out of a reading slump. It is not ruining, it is making the book yours🤓 #bookstagram #currentlyreading #childrenofbloodandbone #zélieadebola #annotatingbooks https://www.instagram.com/p/BpPGPhJAMUM/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1km2y1r73yduq
