Time in Italian needs the verb at the plural => “sono” (the subject is the plural word ore = hours) -> sono le 18:22.In this case you can also say “sto pensando che non vedo l’ora” to introduce a subordinate clause when its verb isn’t at the infinitive but conjugated in a specific tense.

Hai scritto molto bene, complimenti!Generally for impossible events (3rd conditional) the rule says condizionale passato + congiuntivo trapassato (=avessi dovuto); but there’s an exception when we’re talking about wishes (as you are) that are following or contemporary to an event (-> condizionale presente/passato + congiuntivo imperfetto).Only one thing: we skip the preposition “a” (between “pensando” and “dove”) a lot especially when talking, but it’s probably good to put it there (pensando a = thinking about something/someone).

Just a tip (but I’m sure you’ll learn it in your course as well): ”Praticare” in Italian has a different usage: praticare uno sport, praticare un’usanza. So, when you are talking about practising a language as studying it and exercising, it’s better to translate it with “esercitarsi” (reflexive) or “fare pratica”:“non mi sono esercitata nella/in questa lingua || non ho fatto pratica della/di questa lingua”If you mean practicing it as to actually speaking and using a language, like with someone during a trip in Italy, I’d use “mettere in pratica” or “usare/parlare”: “non ho messo in pratica questa lingua || non ho usato/parlato questa lingua”(As in the examples I wrote, the passato prossimo (ho/sono + past participle) is fine: no need for the trapassato prossimo (avevo + past participle)!)

Sono a Londra, sono le 11 e sto pensando a quanto sono impreparato per il coronavirus. non ho alcuna pasta!!

“Non ho più pasta / Non ho pasta” (=I have no more pasta / I have no pasta; alcuna isn’t necessary)And btw I’m not following too much the change of opinion made by BoJo, but I think that markets and supermarkets will stay open as here: don’t worry about running to get food (with the risk of leaving everyone else without, as it’s randomly happening here). Aside from getting out to get food or important things, wash your hands, stay home and try not to panic ♥ if you need to talk, feel free to write here. :)

Cool, it’s a great job!I think that “domanda”, “domanda di iscrizione”, “modulo” or “modulo di richiesta” here would work better instead of “applicazioni”, especially if you are referring to the application form.Also, a classroom or a school room is generally called “classe” or “aula” ;)

No worries, we do use present simple also for future plans, so it’s good anyway! (BTW you’ll find a post about that too in our grammar masterpost, if you’ll need a little help when you’ll start learning those tenses ♥)

I think that by saying “passata al carne” you mean “ragù” or just “passata di pomodoro and carne macinata”, right? SOOO GOOD!!!“La mia mamma” is very informal and idiomatic. It can be found occasionally to reinforce the feeling of possession (and sweetness of relationship). TBH the use of the article is complicated as there are no fixed rules, but with family members, especially with their informal nicknames (mamma, papà...), it’s better not to use it (same grammar masterpost to check about this too!)

Cool! I would like to buy one too but it seems I’ll have to wait :/BTW I’ll write down a couple of suggestions, I hope they’ll help all the ones who have doubts about these matters:

-time is plural: the verb is conjugated according to the noun “hours” (despite we leave it implied most of the times). Basically: sono le (ore) 10.07 - pensare usually is followed by “di” or “a”:pensare a  = thinking about something/someone (ex. sto pensando a te)pensare di = thinking/planning about doing something (ex. sto pensando di comprare un gioco)

You can leave the subject “io” implied (the verb already suggests the subject), or at least try to not repeat it in every sentence.  And, as for prepositions, casa doesn’t need the preposizione articolata (”a casa” is the correct form).
