Angry Aether HCs

Aether is an extraordinarily patient and understanding ghoul, even by quinetessence standards. He has tolerance rivalled by no other, even the elder quintessence ghouls like Omega- so to get him angry, somebody must have gravely offended him.

It takes a lot to get him anywhere near angry. Sure, he gets annoyed- but this is mainly just from dealing with the other ghouls causing mayhem 24/7, which he finds rather endearing if a little pestering. In this case, he just puts on a sterner voice than usual and stands his ground and everything tends to fall into place.

When Aether is angry for real, like genuine anger- not just annoyance or irritation, he is not a ghoul to be around. It’s almost as if the air around him becomes heavy and difficult to breathe in. Quintessence ghouls are the ghouls of life-force after all, so if something is wrong with them, everyone in the surrounding area is affected. He is the quiet-angry type, to where he will lock himself away and speak to nobody until he is ready, and if he really has to show his face (or mask, rather), he carries an aura of tension and bitterness with him.

He certainly is the “I’m disappointed, not angry” type, and even if he really is mad, he’ll never take it out on others- he knows deep down it’s not just to do such a thing. Naturally, when Aether gets into a state like this, it is best to leave him until he has dealt with whatever has angered him- no apology or attempt to lure him out will work, he just needs time and his own space.

When he does finally emerge out from hiding, it is almost as if nothing has happened. He’ll just quietly take he offending ghoul or person to the side, and say in a flat and serious tone “I don’t appreciate being made to feel that way. I don’t want an apology, I don’t want you to feel guilty. Just don’t do that again.” It’s safe to say that nobody who hears that telling off ever reoffends, for fear of what would happen if they did...

Hello anon 💕 There’s quite an irony to this post, isn’t there? 😅 as you can see, I’m somewhat back now, and I hope it lasts longer than my last bout of activity. I hope you enjoy! Here goes:

Aether:

Aether will go over the basics with his S/O, making sure the fundamentals of magic and conjuring are solid before moving onto the more risky stuff. He has great faith in his partner, and is a wonderful and patient teacher, so after a while he’d let them test out their newly learned skills and if they do well? They’re in for a reward. Quintessence magic is largely to do with life force, so with the right tricks, one can place another being into an aroused and high-like state, which amplifies sensations. He’d cast the spell over his partner, and they’d cast it over him, making for some of the best sex imaginable. Think pleasure thrumming through every nerve, each touch and thrust leading to an incomparable climax. It is rather draining though, so they’d be cuddled up in bed for the next day or so sleeping to regain their energy.

Dewdrop:

Dew has absolutely no issue with teaching his S/O tricks and magic that *maybe* should stay in the hands of ghouls and those more experienced. He’s actually a fairly good teacher, and he can be rather encouraging, since his element is often feared rather than embraced. Maybe he’d set tasks for his partner, challenging them to cast an inferno or set something alight for fun. He likes to feel the slight pang of fear in his their heart, their pulse pounding as they cite the enchanted words with him. Should it go wrong, nothing too bad would happen, at least nothing Dew couldn’t control, but it doesn’t come without consequence. He’d tie them up, teasing dangerously close to their skin with the embers crackling at his fingertips. “If you play with fire, you’re bound to get burned, sweetheart.”

Rain:

Rain is certainly more cautious about magic, knowing that every practise has its extremes and that there’s a very fine line between interesting and dangerous. With some gentle persuasion, he’d cave, helping his partner through the stages of water ghoul magic. If they already have experience, like Aether, he would ensure the fundamentals are all covered, but if they’re particularly talented, he will go as far as to help them learn some of the more high calibre spells. One such spell is the ability to enchant oneself to be able to breathe underwater, something natural to water ghouls of course but foreign to others. Once his S/O has mastery of this skill, he may treat them to a visit to one of his secret locations, maybe a cavern somewhere beneath the sea, where they can go to town. They’ll learn the meaning of being well and truly wet.

Swiss:

Swiss basically lives by the principle of “go big or go home”. Unless his partner wants to go for some really high tier stuff, he’s not interested. Maybe a little, but he’d rather be involved in the acts that get the adrenaline pumping. Multi-ghouls are rare, and their powers are unique in that their access to multiple elements allows them to shapeshift. Ghouls in general can do this, but multi ghouls can take a larger variety of forms, and can even go towards invisibility if they’re skilled enough. He’d love to get up to no good with his partner, making bets on who can cause the most mischief- his own sadistic method of teaching, of course. If they win said bet? That invisibility will come in handy when he takes them exactly where they stand. Hopefully his partner is as good at being quiet as they are at magic. “You can be as shameless as you like, sugar. Nobody is watching.” he’d grin, biting his lip.

Mountain:

Mountain is very by-the-books when it comes to teaching, so he wouldn’t let his S/O anywhere near hardcore magic until he was certain they’d taken in all of the theory and risks- he’d expect them to be practising often too. No rest for the wicked, after all. Once they’re ready, he’ll gradually lift the runes on a few more spells at a time, allowing them to stagger their learning in an effective manner. Once they’ve covered everything, meticulously tackling each spell in the book, he’d lay back, astonished. “My- you work quickly, don’t you pet? Show master what you’ve learned.” he’d sneer, pulling roots up from the ground to hold himself down, giving his partner free reign to impress.

Aether:

Aether is one of the least blood-hungry ghouls and can control his instincts rather well- hence he has little trouble quelling the urge to eat in comparison to some of the others. He’s not very messy, as he abhors the cleaning up that comes afterwards (poor guy spends so much time fixing the mess of the other ghouls), but he certainly isn’t shy to get his hands involved. He’s probably the most gentle? He’s aware that things can be a little sensitive down there at these times and won’t go too hard, and he’s the king of aftercare, so a nice hot bath with epsom salts and rose petals will be waiting for his partner afterwards.

Dewdrop:

For the love of satan, please lock this ghoul up. Fire ghouls innately are more attracted to blood than any of the other elements, so they can often be found with their faces buried between the legs of siblings who are menstruating (with their consent, of course- as previously stated, it’s very mutually beneficial; a trade of blood that’s going to waste for some mind-blowing orgasms? Sure thing. They rarely turn this opportunity down.) Dew, unlike Aether, couldn’t care less about mess- he can deal with it afterwards. His teeth ache for more and his eyes glaze with a drunk-like stupor; it’s almost like a high for him. It’s not uncommon to see him cleaning the blood from his hands and face, though it is difficult to know whether it’s for sexy reasons or uhhh other reasons.

Mountain:

Though it may be unexpected, Mountain can be rather blood-thirsty. Over time, ghouls of other elements tend to become well-accustomed to surface life, which can weaken their natural urges towards primal acts of all types (if they allow this to happen, that is). Earth ghouls find it easier to indulge in their element, as forests are rather plentiful on earth, so they are least likely to lose these instincts, including their attraction to blood. Hence, the scent of pheromones and the metallic tang in the air from a bleeding sibling is more than attractive to them, putting the ghoul into a “hunter” frame of mind. This is rather playful when humans are involved, and usually results in some wrestling, pinning, and a lot of sex. Mountain has a bit of a thing for hands (I think I’ve mentioned this in previous Mounty HCs), so he likes if his partner dips their fingers into their heat and lets him take the digits into his mouth.

Rain:

As a newer ghoul, many of Rain’s difficulties in controlling blood-lust actually come from being younger, rather than his element. He is less adjusted to surface life than some of the others, so he sometimes struggles to stop his mouth from watering if he catches the scent of blood. Much like Dew, the thick aroma makes his fangs throb, and draws him towards whoever is causing the stir. If there’s more than one ghoul after the scent, they’d better get out of his way, and they know better than to argue. This is one of the ways that Rain’s dominant side shows through- he’ll hold his partner’s thighs over his shoulder, barely coming up for air- there’s often noise complaints whenever this occurs. He is a water ghoul at the end of the day, so he is very soft and caring once the urge dies down, often treating his partner to a good cuddle session and a hot shower, maybe some tea (one of Mountain’s blends) to relive any residual discomfort from cramping.

Swiss:

Swiss is just as much of a menace as Dew is when it comes to blood- the slightest tinge in the air and he’s gone, though he’s smooth enough to make it look like he doesn’t have an ulterior motive when seducing the sibling. He’s weirdly good at covering up his attraction to it, however, and will use this to his advantage when getting his partner in the mood. Something along the lines of initiating a kiss, biting their lip and letting their hands wander, allowing his own to trail into their underwear to dip his digits into them, drawing them back out to suck as his partner looks on, blushing. “Swiss.. Ghouls are demons after all, it’s within their nature to have a natural urge to seek out blood should they smell it, due to hunting and brawling being a vital part of their lives in hell prior to summoning.

Generally, after a few months of taming, ghouls are able to resist the temptation of blood and can (with some effort) restrain themselves. If the quantity of blood is more substantial, however, problems begin to arise.

Siblings who are menstruating are urged to stay well away from ghouls unless they’re familiar with them. Ghouls are drawn towards the scent of the blood as well as the pheromones they can detect, so it’s an arousing scenario for them, the though of an easy blood source ready and dripping for them, free to lap at and feed for as long as they like, with the additional experience of eating somebody out? Yes. Of course, this applies only to consenting and like aforementioned, familiar siblings, but should they agree, they’re in for a good time.
