Okay. Anyone who is following along here, please, please don’t say I didn’t warn you. This reading I did this morning with @jambrainrot . I had some questions about the article everyone is talking about. This spread shows the answers I got.

Who had the idea for the interview: Ace of Wands. Someone who is represented by the Ace of Wands is an energetic, creative person. They’re not afraid to take risks in the creative process, to try new ideas, and create something wonderful. As a friend or a lover they are great at showing affection through grand gestures and spontaneous acts of romance. Their follow through can be spotty.

Why now for the partner reveals/special emphasis: This is a career move. They evaluated the situation and thought it would be wise, for some reason. There’s a sense that there will be more eyes on this show now, and they’re trying to smooth over their image. Someone thought it would “look good” (Ace of Wands, maybe others involved in their career).

What does Jam see as the outcome for them, in all of this: They were making progress. All of that has been stunted. Something scared one of them, or both of them, and now they’re back at this “will they won’t they” impasse. The two of swords reversed represents conflicting ideas of where things should have progressed by this point. The two of Wands represents conflicting ideas on what the long term plan was, or a deviation from the plan all together. Jacob had a lot of two of swords energy last year. Jam had a lot of two of wands energy when Jacob had two of swords energy. 

Clarifying cards for the whole reading, popped out of deck: Tower reversed, Four of Cups Reversed. They’re avoiding something deeply, deeply necessary with this combination. The tower reversed can mean devastation has already happened or is on the horizon, but either way they are trying to do damage control. They’ve fallen into the status quo, because they feel it will be safer. It’s a form of escape, à la the four of cups reversed- they’re no longer in touch with their truth, whatever the truth is for them.

I did my own reading on will and the "date". I'm not as good as you are, my reading is pretty basic, but I think its similar enough to yours. Lmk if I'm really off in my interpretation! I'm still learning!!

Lovers - two of wands rx - king of swords

The 'date' was not planned, Will also doesn't plan on taking it further, he's quite clear about it. He's also quite clear about how it comes across as a date to outsiders but it's not headed anywhere.

Knight of cups rx - page of wands rx - the hermit rx

Boy is not in an emotionally open or balanced place. Knight of cups may be an instigator card? Like Will is talking to girls but not acting on it - he has no desire to take this forward. The hermit - I don't know whether that means he'll force to isolate himself, or if he's currently forcing himself to be social even though his heart is not into it. Maybe both?

Queen of swords - wheel of fortune reversed - ace of wands

He's in a a slump, he feels stuck or like only bad things are happening right now. It looks like he's waiting for something to change or to finally go right. The queen of swords stumps me - a clear headed woman/feminine energy in his like offering guidance and clarity, and helping him navigate the situation or see the silver lining in all of this? Idk.

Hello! Could I get a tarot reading? I have been thinking recently that I'd like to go study law at a school after I am done with another degree. I am currently in college for another major for another few years but having another degree would help me out a lot in life and especially when I always had passion for solving crimes, justice and fighting legal issues. 5 of Coins: - Things wont be easy, so in times like this its important that you let those who genuinely want to help you instead of refusing it. You might feel like you have a point to prove throughout all of it, but its okay to accept help from others. Thats the main vibe I’m getting from this card;

The World, Reversed: - Remember to enjoy the journey, it could be so easy to lose yourself in your workload and your journey, but if you reach that point, you may end up losing your passion for it all so be sure to take a step back every once in a while and acknowledge your accomplishments and celebrate and take breaks!

Knight of Cups:  - With that being said, don’t be too fickle about it all. Maintain that wonder and love, but also make sure you take your responsibilities into account. This is a large and important step that bares a lot of importance to you so make sure to give it the attention it deserves. I also see perhaps this being used in a more creative outlet? perhaps this may drive you to writing poetry or some sort of written work.. I’m not 100% sure but that aspect stood out to me while reading this card. 

Overall, I know that the last 2 cards conflict, however I feel like theyre trying to express that you shouldn’t fall into either extreme in this matter. You certainly have your work cut out for you and you may end up seeing a darker side of the world, but don’t let that take away from what brings you joy and happiness!

Hi anon! I know moon @iwtvtarot plans on doing this because we chatted about it. Here is my contribution:

Sam’s Card: The Two of Cups. This card refers to a bond that goes bone deep. The people in this pair understand each other at a cosmic level. While Sam is excited for this season, undoubtedly, he also wants to finally focus on his personal relationships in life- like this two of cups partnership. This card is a wish that he finds the time and space in his life to “fill his cup” and deepen his bonds so that he can feel supported as this season comes out.

Jacob’s Card: The Four of Wands. This is a beautiful, rose tinted card- it’s very dreamy in some ways. It has to do with celebrating the home, partnerships, and marriage. It also asks which of these milestones you wish to celebrate, and with who. It asks who you love, and who you want to build a life with. It also asks how you want your loved ones to show up and celebrate you. Considering that, my wish for Jacob is he feels celebrated during this time, and by people who matter to him most.

Card for Cast and Crew: Strength. A beautiful card. Often, we think of strength as a show of force. In tarot, we see strength represented as a figure gently petting a lion. We can conquer hardships with intelligence and kindness, and even partnerships. My wish for everyone who worked on this season together is they support each other, no matter what ups and downs they face.

I have included a tiny yellow apatite grid on these cards. Yellow apatite is great for self-confidence and optimism when you find yourself struggling.*

Now onto the tarot stuff. Here’s a brief history:

First tarot was a card game, designed to keep people entertained at lavish parties. As it grew in popularity, people began collecting the beautiful cards as art objects. Then, tarot was adopted by occult practitioners as a means of divination. This was an easy shift, seeing as many of the cards already had symbolic meanings assigned to them.

You can see how some people turn to tarot for reflection, and others use it for entertainment or even aesthetic purposes. It’s all what you make of it, and I do hope you enjoy your stay on this blog. Please keep in mind tarot is categorized as a form of divination, or scrying, and is just a glimpse of what may come to pass. Nothing is set in stone, as fate is ever changing.

Any cards I draw and meanings I provide here should be taken as entertainment.

It’s fine to submit general tea or enthusiasm about Jam and I enjoy seeing it. Just know if there’s not a question in there I cannot do a reading. 

Make sure your questions are respectfully worded. This means be kind and make sure you are avoiding disparaging language when asking about people. I'll delete asks that get mean.

Strong questions can be phrased using words like how, what, and why. Know that timelines can impact the answer to a question, which is why some readers will pull for the same question after some time has passed. It's okay to ask again if it's been a while. I cannot predict for things like “when will x event happen”. Only someone on set would know that. Besides, as we have seen, dates change. 

If you ask me a question that can be answered with yes or no, or an either/or answer, I may answer with a one card spread to try and get a more specific answer for you.

How does Sam Feel: Queen of Wands reversed, High Priestess Reversed. The Queen of Wands upright is a charismatic and Confident figure. Reversed, she’s lost many of those traits. Sam has lost confidence in a relationship right now. He feels things haven’t progressed the way they should for one reason or another, which leaves him feeling insecure in his own abilities. Note the Queen of Wands in a reading can also mean you’re feeling insecure in your talents, because it can symbolize creative efforts or a career that’s on the rocks. Sometimes an overbearing boss can be in the mix here. Perhaps he’s been dealt a double blow of feeling lost in love and his creative abilities. The High Priestess reversed complicates things- this card came to me face down but jumped from the deck. This card means he knows what he needs to do in order to resolve the situation on an intuitive level, but he’s been ignoring the actions he needs to take. 

How does Jacob feel: King of Wands Reversed. Jacob also feels insecure in the relationship right now. He’s done his best to do the right thing, but things haven’t progressed the way he expected them to at this point. This could be a result of them trying something that didn’t work, or outside forces- curiously, sometimes work or overbearing bosses are mentioned for this card as well. It doesn’t seem the relationship has gone the way either of them wanted at this point. This is stressful to him. The King of Wands reversed suggests he’s rushing forward to push ideas that may fix the situation instead of thinking things through more thoroughly, because he would like it to be resolved. Which leaves…

The relationship: The Hanged Man, Reversed. Something needs to change in the current situation, and they do appear to be working towards that. Admittedly, both of them are trying to make a change to make things work and shake off whatever past mistakes they’ve made. They just are moving quickly and may not be sure how to proceed.

Thank you for being patient with me while I was gone. Here’s your question, almost a month later:

What does Sam want to say to Jacob: The Fool. If I had to sum this up in one phrase, it would be “I’m taking a chance on you”. The fool is about embarking on a new endeavor, even if you’re unsure of the risks and perils to be found on the path that lies ahead. Note that this card is sometimes associated with Aquarius. 

What does Jacob want to say to Sam: The Ace of Swords. If I had to sum this one up in one phrase, it would be “you’re always on my mind”. Jacob’s been putting a lot of thought into this relationship for a long time. He’s finally come to a point where he feels he has all of his ducks in a row and can talk more about it. It’s not so much that he isn’t sure what he wants to say, so much as now is the time he wants to finally talk about his feelings and what the future could look like. Note that this card is sometimes associated with Gemini. 

How would this conversation go: The Knight of Cups. This Knight is a symbol of love, and they are willing to fight for it- which seems pretty clear from both cards drawn. Now they just need to say what they want to say.
