Love Bullet Theory Time I think
In early 2025 Inee posted the following as a twitter extra:
there's a lot to be said about how green eyes can be symbolic of jealousy, cupid inability to fall in love, etc., but I'll be attempting to contribute to the discussion in a way that I don't think I heard anywhere else? and that it's a neat-ish detail.
anyways using the picture above, consider the following:
notice how Koharu's green eyes are only partially covered; the "secret" of the picture is not actually the iris color
...and so, what it is really being concealed is the pupil
there are hearts are roughly in the same area where pupil would be
+ again, obvious connotations of the color green
Thus, it may be concealing the heart-shaped eyes that the manga usually depicts as a character getting successfully hit by a love bullet (i.e. falling in love)
AKA: the gayening of cupids, yippee! smth smth Kannaharu
what's more is that bro is still in her cupid form while being green-eyed. hmm. interesting?
As for the mechanisms thereof (how does this happen? how is it possible), right now I can chalk it up to "idfk". imo we don't have anything solid to speculate on. this probably where said this little prediction falls short
are there levels to this? can some high power (see: love goddess) influence this. is the hierarchy for influence on love upon other beings love goddess > cupid > mortal human
weird demonic-adjacent cupid seen w/ Ena + end of chapter 14 may have some influence over this? hrmm
corroborating this is are the prev. two images, which also are twitter extras. again with the green. Koharu's eyes are once again covered, though I suspect it is the same color/pupil shape
+ as for Kanna in general, I did find it interesting in this reddit discussion was able to sleuth out her (very likely) last name, which is connected to the flower petals with her on the vol 2 cover. said flowers are famously symbolic of unrequited love. interesting...
one might even say, "how queer". comedic genius over here
anyways yeah that's my TWO (2) cents for where the direction this series may be going.
tldr: "local guy predicts manga is going in a direction that most people already knew would be going in"
