Dinner with the Vanguard: Cayde-6
Cayde agrees as soon as the invitation is extended, but when you tell him to come in something nice, he tries to back out- reminding you that "Fancy and him don't get along." Eventually you manage to convince him back in, but only after citing the delicious food and your willingness to pay for his dinner as an incentive. When the time comes he shows up in something at least a little more formal than his hunter armor, but that's where the decorum ends. The two of you sit down and immediately start swapping stories and jokes. Unfortunately (and unsurprisingly) The exo himself is too loud and too animated, slapping the table and causing the silverware to rattle around with each grand movement. As he relays to you a tale of one of his favorite hunters in the field, he uses the items on the table as props, and it's actually pretty entertaining. But alas, before your time is over, he's somehow lit the tablecloth on fire, causing the sprinklers to go off. You two are run out of the restaurant while he half-laughs, half-apologizes. Maybe next time, you two should settle for the local ramen shop...
