Another 13 - Le Labo
Decided to wear an older bottle today. I love this perfume most after a few years, when it has a chance to thicken up. It's dry newspaper and coconut meat and yellowing vinyl all at the same time. The smell of this on skin is almost greasy and chemical, yet altogether comforting. I guess that's the magic of ambroxan! What makes this such a best seller is still beyond me, but I do appreciate its uniqueness and wearability, even if I'm not compelled by any story it's telling.
