Pregnancy is a bit of a funny thing.

Everyone is so excited and Aiden gets it, a new life is coming into the world and Aiden gets some congratulations and he doesn’t even know how word spreads so fast. And suddenly it’s like he did it when really his wife is doing all the heavy lifting, Aiden’s just trying his best to make sure Luci’s as comfortable as possible. When Jordan finds out, it’s a bit of a sweet moment. He doesn’t say anything but he simply hugs Luci and whispers that she’s going to be a great mom. TJ’s much of the same, happy and gives Luci and Aiden a big hug.

Everything feels right, to Aiden at least. That run with Nolan went surprisingly decent but Nolan left it with a bit of a cliffhanger of ‘talk soon.’ Robbie told him that they’re finished with one another but there was a look in Nolan’s eye and a smirk that was plastered over his face that read ‘not quite.’ Nothing was verbalized but since then Robbie and Aiden have been on their toes, thinking about it. Hopefully that bridge says burned.

For now everything is normal (as they can be), Luci bringing treats to the garage on a nice and weirdly not so sticky humid day. “Hey, you know what you should try to make, Luci? Those cronut things.” TJ suggests.

“I don’t think those are it anymore,” Jordan comments. “So ten years ago.”

“Pizza’s been around for over a century and do you see anyone complaining about it?”

Aiden arches a brow as he sits on a stool, muffin in hand. He’s got Luci standing between his legs with his front and her back lightly pressed together. He orders her a piece of the muffin before he goes and takes a bit, his one hand rests just along her hip and the beginning curve of her bump.

“I think pizza and a... cronut... are two different things,” Aiden makes an input.
