What do hos and Steph do to have fun together?

well y’know when Steph isn’t running rampant and trying to jump out of moving cars every second

Beach days!! These mainly consist of Steph throwing Hos into the car, driving to the beach and just collecting stuff at 3 in the morning and not leaving until 12

Hos usually has one of those big flowy sunflower hats. He collects shells and yoinks crabs from outta the sand then he’ll look over and Steph will be running at him with twelve seagulls flying angrily after him

Their favourite past time is seeing how fast they can get banned from McDonalds

Sometimes they’ll take care of Teddy together because Steph is on the verge of a breakdown but whenever he goes to leave Teddy screams louder

Hos makes them both hot chocolate and cookies, sits on the couch and sings to them

Karaoke nights are always a guarantee whenever they go out

They read homestuck together once. They read it all in one go and boy was that a train wreck

And yes I am implying they got minimum sleep and probably didn’t eat or drink while they were reading it was a very intense moment in time

Tethered Belle/horror island girl?

Her name is Bea

She is still dead, but instead of being a demon/malevolent spirit, she’s an angel/light spirit

Big bookworm kid

She is still in the tunnels, as she is unable to leave due to her soul being trapped there

It is possible for her to leave, but only if she manages to find her body, which is highly unlikely in itself

Teddy visits her anytime Hos or Joey is babysitting her

Bea has a big ol crush on Captain Marvel (from the comics she can’t watch movies)

Has a very limited knowledge on literally anything

She’s mute, and Teddy is teaching her sign language

Hos is definitively the mom friend of the Tethered. This is not negotiable

He has, on multiple occasions, actually grounded multiple people

He loves to sing. His voice is still raspy and it does crack a lot sometimes, but overall he grows to have a nice voice

He has some form of anxiety, but certainly notably social anxiety and possibly OCD

He likes playing games with Ash (love language), and frequently goes and hangs out with her. They are Bros

Despite knowing and loving baking, he doesn’t actually like desserts or sweet things

Anytime his anger gets the best of him and he lashes out at someone, he’ll immediately sputter out apologies and will continue to feel bad for the rest of the day or the week

When he’s feeling down he either goes to J for cuddles and general comfort, Steph because his loud mouth distracts him from his thoughts, or fem!Jay because she always manages to make him smile and it’s very sweet

One time he slept for a whole day. He woke up and Steph and burned down his kitchen, J was taped to the ceiling of Hos’ living room and Anna was out in the park getting her ass kicked by a bunch of ducks

He’s very tired

When Steph is unavailable, he always gets Hos to babysit Teddy. Teddy absolutely adores him, and when Steph got back to Hos’ apartment he saw a bunch of poorly shaped burnt cookies on the kitchen counter (made for Hos by Teddy) and Hos was asleep on the couch, Teddy cuddling him and Sesame Street playing in the background

I have a headcanon that he eventually starts to work at a daycare because yeet Daycare AU but this is currently undecided

He goes to the gym regularly. One time while babysitting Teddy he was out for a morning run and he had her put on skates and hold onto his shirt so she could keep up.

He has a therapy animal, she’s a cat and Anna called her Bubblegum

How do the tethered cope with nightmares/terrors

Anna has a bunch of stuffed animals that she hugs when she wakes up from a nightmare. The worse the nightmare, the bigger stuffed animal she needs. She’ll also sometimes call J as she’s hugging the stuffie because she likes his voice.

J will go into Joey’s room and crawl under the covers to receive The Cuddles. Joey will wrap his arms around his waist and pepper his face in kisses and J always ends up falling asleep giggling.

Steph usually goes to Teddy’s room to check on her first, then he’ll go to the kitchen and sit there for the rest of the night watching videos that usually make him laugh. Teddy will sometimes wake up and stay up with him, which usually ends in her falling asleep on him and him going and tucking her in again, Teddy will grab his shirt before he can leave, make him read her a bedtime story and he’ll end up falling asleep before she does.

Hos will text Jay when he wakes up, usually he’ll fall asleep texting her but she’s learned that if he texts her at midnight it generally means he’s had a nightmare and he’ll call Bellboy to go over and talk and/or comfort him

what does tethered teddy look like??

hi this is late but here. and just to make a few things clear:

Teddy looks so different to Ted because Steph never met (tethered) Stephen’s wife. There is no direct tethered counterpart to Ted, Teddy is technically someone else

Steph found Teddy because he, unbeknownst to everyone else, actually goes back to the tunnels every week to see Bea. He found Teddy when she was seven- cold, crying and abandoned and took her in

Teddy chose her name without ever knowing about Ted. Anna bought her a Teddy bear and that’s why she chose that name and yes I am implying Steph didn’t name her because he wanted her to chose her own name

Bonus: they just called her ‘Kid’ or 'Puppy’ until she chose her name

Steph is cis male, J is a demiboy, Hos is genderfluid, Anna is cis female, Joey is non-binary but accepts he/him, Vin is cis male and Teddy is cis female

Is there a tethered Ted?

y’know because i love Ted yes there is, but she looks a little different and is, in fact, adopted. steph found her in the tunnels a few weeks before the US video takes place and proceeded to slide into the ‘found family’ trope. her name is Teddy.
