Chrono Cross Playstation 1999
未完成でも、美しかった。
Even unfinished, they were beautiful.
I call this mess my Chrono Cross brainrot mixed with Minecraft block people.
Anyway, the context is I just wanted Bedrock Bros, and then Phil snuck in there after I remembered how sad I was that Lynx's connection to Serge just got a passing mention.

3 scientists create a machine that goes haywire and opens cosmic rifts that throw them each into different times and places in history
One of them is named Gaspar
Along with them, a young prince is also hurled through time, where he appears in front of a group of monsters
He is then raised by these monsters, growing up in monster society
His older sister too, was sucked into the rift, where she ended up in the darkness beyond time
When the prince is old enough, he attempts to summon the great godlike entity that caused the time rifts, in order to defeat it
This fails, and he is sent back to the beginning, back to his childhood time and home. With knowledge of the future, he lays low and waits for the chance to prevent the tragic events from happening in the first place
At the same time, a group of adventurers also trying to defeat the great cosmic entity, have come to this time and place. Alongside the prince they arrive at the fated moment and try to stop the tragedy from occurring
They fail, and one of the heroes is killed in the process, disappearing completely
The prince and the surviving heroes meet one of the 3 scientists who was cast through the rift, he now sits in the darkness at the end of time
His name is Gaspar
He gives them an egg that has the power to change the dead hero’s fate. But in order to do this, a replacement must be found, a sacrifice to take his place in that fated moment of death
A doppelganger, a doll, a clone, a knockoff, a copy…. Identical in every way to the fallen hero
Its only purpose is to die in his stead, created to be a goner's replacement
In the darkness beyond time, the lost princess creates her own copy….
Somewhere in time and space a boy falls into a reality where he no longer exists, but everything and everyone goes on without him…
Then one day a being with power beyond his comprehension steals his body
Only with this body can this being obtain it’s heart’s desire...
Eventually the boy creates a new, identical body-
-but the malevolent being still wears his face....

also hi are you fuckin me with this⬇️
oh and how could i forget this:
And you know wat sent me down the Deltarune/Chrono hole in the first place?
U THINK U CAN SUDDENLY HAVE A PARTY MEMBER THAT FLOATS WHEN THEY RUN IN AN RPG AND I WON'T PUT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER?
oh yeah and this too (cos image limit is real and its gonna getcha)
Chrono Cross and Baten Kaitos both hold a very dear spot in my heart. They have always lingered in my mind for numerous reasons, but mostly for the gorgeous fantasy worlds they depict.. Varied landscapes and unique settings that give off a certain exotic intangible. Takes me back...
I've been cooking this mix up for almost a year, and the timing felt right! Welcome back to dolphin bedroom, please enjoy your stay and rest up. Thanks for visiting~ ^_^ 🐬 BandCamp 🐬 SoundCloud 🐬

Please read this incredible interview with Richard Honeywood, localiser for Square Enix, about his bizarre Sega job interview, the nightmare that was localizing Xenogears, and why one scene in Chrono Cross ends with a guy standing there smoking eternally.
"I was telling [the Xenogears team], 'Please tone down some of this stuff.'"
