Honesty can sometimes be difficult, as can taking the time to make sure what you're saying is conveying exactly what you're trying to say. Sometimes it can be hard to make sure your delivery of the truth is taken seriously and/or not seen as an attack. In spite of these difficulties, it's important to make sure you take the time to say what needs to be said. Think about your intentions before delivering the truth you need to communicate. That will help you find the most appropriate way to express yourself. Ideally that will also mean your truth is better received. It may not bring about a "perfect" outcome, but it will not help to keep things festering inside. Be truthful, especially when it really matters.
Prayer to Odin and the Blessings of Ansuz
Odin, Wanderer, Wisdom-Keeper, You who speak in whispered breath, Guide my tongue with truth and honor, Fill my voice with runes of depth.
Ansuz sings upon the wind, A spark of thought, a gift of sight, The breath of gods, the poet’s fire, The sacred call in silent night.
By your will, the runes were wakened, Carved in stone and deep in soul, Let their wisdom shape my speaking, Let their power make me whole.
Father of words, of songs, of fate, Let my speech be clear and true, Open paths where silence lingers, Let divine breath carry through.
Hail Odin, wise and knowing, Hail Ansuz, voice of lore, May your wisdom walk beside me, Now and always, evermore.
