It may seem a little strange to those unfamiliar with this tradition, but including Roscoe in the ofrenda has been one of the most beautiful gestures I've ever seen. On the Día de Muertos, animals often guide souls on their journey to Mictlán, so the year-long wait (to be included in the ofrenda) isn't necessary for Roscoe, i might been tearing up a little :')

In my country I've heard many times the term "piernas de charro" referring to charros who spend a lot of time on horseback and often have bowed legs/genu varum.

Ever since the video of Bez walking with the Olympic torch came out, I haven't stopped wondering if they have anything in common, and it turns out they do. Spending so much time in a forced posture can cause, perhaps not a curvature of the bones, but certainly a muscular adaptation. Add to that the injuries riders often have in accidents and the risk they have of compartment syndrome (although it's more common in the arms), it's not surprising that some of them have/had problems walking.
