Anti hit the floor with a loud crack as the wood broke beneath him, sending waves of ink- like smoke forming around him. His body was thrown effortlessly across the room, crashing into the brick fireplace and landing him on the floor again. He tried standing up, only to be thrown to the opposite wall like a rag doll.
“ENOUGH!” he screamed. He was pinned to the wall by an invisible force, an unbearable weight pressing against his body. It felt hot, like someone took a pot right off the stove and pushed it straight to his skin.
He groaned and writhed in his place, trying to summon any cold within him to soothe the burning. “That’s... enough.”
Marvin walked to his brother, his face stone cold and still. “It is enough when I say it is enough.” he seethed. His eyes looked as if a storm was brewing within them, grey clouds and waters stirring behind glass.
“Are you here only to play?” Anti mocked, gritting his teeth as the weight pressed further into his chest. “C- could have called me.”
“You will leave him alone.” Marvin said, disregarding his brothers comments. He took a step forward, burning the floor to charcoal where he stepped. “You will let him rest without your looming presence. Understand?”
Anti chuckled, but it was quickly replaced by a strangled groan as the burning became worse. “Y- you’re gonna have to be more s- aahhgg... specific, buddy..”
Marvin’s lip curled. “Chase.”
Suddenly the weight pushed so far into his body that his bones began to break, and the burning began to ignite a blanket of fire that coated his skin like a suit of flames. Anti began to scream, writhing inside his brother’s magic as it was the only movement he could muster. Black tendrils began to leak from his eyes, but they were immediately eaten by the fire like a starving snake to a wild mouse.
“Antavriel.” Marvin said, taking a step closer to his twin. “You will show him your mercy, or I will not show you mine.”
“Fine!!!” Anti screamed, crying out in pain as the fire began to thread itself into his bones. “Just stop!!! Stop doing this!!!”
“I SWEAR you piece of shit!!”
Finally satisfied, Marvin took a step away and let his brother go. Within seconds he was gone, and Anti was left alone in a pool of black smoke and blood.
