Day 26 : Anthias Fish
Reef Gardens
A went to a photo gallery a year ago. It had the most breathtaking underwater shots I’ve ever seen. Well, I still can’t get over that feeling of wonder. I’ll never paint something as gorgeous as those photographs, but I’ll keep trying. Ok, there were no merfolk in those photographs, maybe some cute nudibranchs and moray eels. Welp, here’s my currently unnamed merman character having a little swim around the coral gardens. I loved painting his scales and his pearlescent skin. I want to make him into a craftsman who cuts, and infuses magical gems, but I’m still working on it.

The next day, Annie Anthias invited Chloe over to hang out. They exchanged seaweed soup recipes and baked shrimp cakes. Annie wanted to go on the Keto diet together. She had gained some weight TV binging and hadn’t been to the gym in months.
“We can’t go on that diet! Where in the coral reef would we find cauliflower and cheese?” asked Chloe.
