Story: 

After some tough exhausting battles, a warrior named Zane takes a rest on a rock. At this point he feels he doesn’t have enough energy to walk back to base along with his injuries. A light descends from above revealing an angelic figure. Could this be a hallucination he thought? But then the descending angel assures him this is no illusion and begins the to heal the exhausted wolf. 

Something else seems to catch Zane’s mind. Why does this heavenly being seem so familiar? It is as though he has hidden memories of him from a passed life. Was this angel once a living person from another era?

A big drawing I did back in February 2017. Since the summer of 2016, a certain buddy of mine and I have developed some intimate feelings. This illustration is an expression of that as the white wolf is my buddy’s fursona named Zane. Perhaps you recognize the angel as my profile pic which is one of my “self portraits.” Since my buddy likes to have some art of his fursona wear the Marauder armor from Ratchet and Clank Deadlocked, I wanted to practice with drawing and coloring armor. 

Some inspirations came from some of my favorite Renaissance and Baroque artists such as Raphael, Peter Paul Rubens, Caravaggio and Bernini. This was drawn with charcoal and colored with oil pastels on a 30x36 inch piece of drawing paper.

why'd you change your url. i was confused for a full minute and a half

lol, mel asked the same thing. it's because some girl in our school found my twitter account which has the same url as my old tumblr.

i plan on changing it back soon, haha.
