I do not, and probably never will, understand the insistence of some people, that fictional characters should be treated as if they are real people.
She is not a real teenager, she is fictional. In addition to that, I am not pairing her with an adult, I am pairing her with an immortal demon who acts like an 8 year old. Who, by definition, is much more fictional because a person like that cannot exist.
To be clear about this, I do not believe in the agency of any fictional characters (therefore they cannot be hurt), I do not believe that this could possibly "normalize" any sort of relationship between real people since there are no real people in existence like one of the characters involved (therefore this cannot hurt any real people), and I do not believe that the depiction of a horrible act will cause people do go out and do said horrible act (therefore this is not going to spawn any more pedophiles into the world).
