the rise of TEACHERS using Al in their assignments, marking, and lessons is actually fucking disgusting. my brother showed me some of his work, his feedback from his teacher and the assignments she's given them, and i'm so pissed.
his teacher genuinely doesn't read a WORD of any of the thousands of words he works hard on. she pastes his work into chatgpt. asks it to mark it on a rubric (which is also ai generated) and then gives him that feedback
she then proceeded to tell him that his work "sounded very ai generated" and took of marks because he copied the structure of an example she provided WHICH WAS ALSO AI GENERATED
every single lesson, every visual, every assignment idea, every KAHOOT is ai generated slop. with the amount of youth using chatgpt on the daily i genuinely worry for societies future education.
if grown adults teaching classes can't do their fucking job, there's no way people our age who are fully dependent on ai will be able to in the future
and they still have the audacity to say student's ai work is dishonest, then turn around and use it to mark every assignment without reading it.
