I hate how the duffers tried to portray Joyce and Bob’s relationship as unsatisfactory or whatever, even though in reality it was really healthy for the both of them and for Jonathan and Will, just because he was a really good selfless guy and that’s probably due to them being bitter and thinking that men have to be super aggressive and macho in order to be desired by women which is why they portrayed hopper as more aggressive as the show progressed and what-

it's something about joyce finally getting away from lonnie because he was a scary man with a loud booming voice and then getting with bob who was the prime opposite of that and they loved eachother so so much and then he died and joyce was devastated but moved on surprisingly quickly to hopper who (and i am not saying he is abusive) embodies a lot of lonnie's violent exterior
