I bought Cat and Ned as a couple (and their absence still aches in my tender heart); I bought Shae and Tyrion; bought Cersei and Jaime (abusive relationship, anyone?); bought Ygritte and Jon; the hints of possible Sansa and Tyrion, almost swoon with Gendry’s “You will be my lady” for Arya. Hell, I bought Tormunt and Brienne in a heartbeat on season 6.

All this to say D&D can manage romance and can engage people on a relationship. But sometimes they don’t. For me, it was like this with Robb and Talisa: it seemed rushed, forced, as if there was a gigantic invisible hand handling two dolls saying “and now, kiss”. And I honestly think isn’t for the actors, both Richard and Oona are terrific in their jobs. It just doesn’t work for me, and I miss everytime that they changed Jeyne’ s character.

And now I feel the same about Dany and Jon. Feels like they just WANT to them to be together because their are the big shots of all time, and it just doesn’t fit. It’s not Kits fault, not Emilia’s fault either. Again: it’s rushed, is forced. Davos saying “I saw you looking to her good heart *wink**wink*” got me checking if I was watching a romcom.

Le sigh. Let’s see if it gets better with the next episode. Otherwise, I honestly hoping that he ends up with sansa.

Second of all, if you think that MRJ being regarded as a CS shipper is an insult, you really need to sort out your priorities.
