What's something the fandom does when it comes to Draco that you despise?

Oh, my dear Anon, I am not a Draco fan. You really want me to go there?? Really???

Fandom has created a brooding Fae prince out of Draco. He’s brilliant. He’s misunderstood. He's sophisticated. He’s abused. He’s soooooooooo sexy.

In canon, Draco is a whiny little bully who looks like a ferret. Have you seen a ferret? They are tiny and have no chin. He's an ineffectual weak-chinned whiny unfuckable DE nepobaby.

He’s not brave. He’s not smart. He’s not loyal. He’s not even cunning. He’s a less-charming Wile E. Coyote dropping anvils on his own head and then screaming for daddy to swoop in and punish gravity.

While I love a good redemption arc there isn’t anything about Draco that makes me want to see him redeemed. He’s wishy-washy. He's just a little shit who takes pleasure in making other people feel small.

Honestly they have this addiction to demonize Ron for their ship to sail and try to show how Ron is a shitbag as a sort of justification for Hermione to be with dwaco who is the actual shitbag!

Do you think that Ron ever forgiven Draco about his bullying from hogwarts?

Forgiven? Possibly. Forgotten? Definitely not. 

I think as Ron develops and matures he’ll be able to understand how a lot of Draco’s actions were a product of his upbringing- however, that in no way absolves what he did/said, and I don’t think it can really be concluded that simply. 

I mean, we make fun of the epilogue a lot, and as much as I believe Ron was joking when he made that comment about Rose staying away from Scorpius, it also seemed to indicate that the trio are still- to a degree- wary of Draco. It’s not really without reason either: what evidence did they have to suggest that Draco hadn’t raised his kids up with the exact same believes he’d exhibited at Hogwarts? It doesn’t sound as if any attempt was made at reconciliation; whether Draco apologised for his behaviour or not we may never know, but it definitely doesn’t sound as if they’re on friendly terms. I imagine there’s a lot of animosity (on both sides) and even if Ron forgives Draco for his behaviour at Hogwarts, I see it as being a reluctant thing rather than an absolute exemption for how he acted during those years.

(Also important to remember is that Draco’s actions far exceed what we’d usually think of when we hear the term ‘bullying’. Personally I don’t think Ron would hold a grudge based on Draco’s treatment of him alone, but Draco’s treatment towards Hermione? Those are not easily forgiven offences, especially in the context of muggle-born discrimination that the HP verse is built on.)

The Draco of the Twilight fandom is Jasper.

Their stans love them for the similar of not exactly the same reasons (ooo broody pretty blonde boy) and ignore their horrible personalities and racist behaviours in the same way.
