My house doesn't have a garbage bin for garbage collection days.🙄 I'm feeling so anti-plastic these days, and I barely produce any trash anyway. Is this a dumb idea?

I'd keep it under my front steps so I wouldn't have to move it far when it's full. It weighs just under 10lbs, and if worse came to worse, they do sell dollies for them.

If it's the kind of trash can nobody would want to have, then that would maybe even prevent it from being stolen (like the last one was)? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Plastic has its uses in many fields, in some ways it’s irreplaceable. It’s hard to imagine another material surpassing it in versatility and function. However, using plastic in everyday items like these

was a mistake.

plastic would’ve been good if we used it responsibly. But we failed to see the repercussions because it’s too easy to take it for granted.

we need to downsize the rate at which we use nondegradable products

we need to seek sustainable alternatives to plastic immediately

Does anyone have experience with Reslin? Does anyone have any good knowledge on if they’re legitimate? Trying to look up more about them but ofc I’m only getting official pages or sponsored posts . . .

It SOUNDS great but it also sounds typically eco-friendly-material-scammy, and I don’t have a massive budget to be throwing around at possibilities, nor do I really have a personal way to test for hazards.
