When it comes to the Bonnie stans vs. Elena defenders I just don't think they realize it's not as much about the character (though many of us have issues with the way she written), but more about what Elena represents. She's literally Bonnie's polar opposite in the show. She gets the guy, the wardrobe, the epic romances, everyone is always willing to save her. And what does Bonnie get? The scraps and death. She is the one who is always sacrificing herself and she doesn't even get her own clothes. Kat Graham had to wear horrible wigs and clothes that were rejected from Elena and Caroline's wardrobes.

So yes, it really is that deep.

The facial expressions in that Bamon scene is everything. You can see the lingering resentment and hurt in Bonnie as Damon talks, but she's soft too and touched and every emotion from Kat is so nuanced while Damon is so vulnerable and humbled. You can feel the love between them, but the consequences too as they try to rebuilt and it's so raw and deep and still all this beautiful chemistry will go down the drain.

I don’t think I’ll ever get over the fact that Bon*nzo was literally introduced as a shock factor...no matter how cute they are, that bothers me. It’s shoddy writing.

I get how Klaus could have Hope. A werewolf needs to continue the line and so this overrides some of the vampire aspects. Of course, being a hybrid means having some vampire qualities and some werewolf ones; but not all.

Caroline on the other hand is 100% vampire and so this idea of her magically getting pregnant is utter shit. Caroline's body isn't able to have children. It's an issue TVD have been talking about for seasons! Elena didn't want to become a vampire because of it!

But then how will Candice King stay in the show with her bump? C'mon Plec there are MILLIONS of tactics people use to hide it. Instead of forcing it into the show through some dreadful unrealistic storyline.

I thought Bonenzo was weird enough last episode but this...this Caroline and Alaric crap ....and Caroline having his and Jo's babies?!

Seriously Plec you have no idea how to write a decent story.

Like others, I am fuming. Absolutely fuming at how they have ruined my favourite character. TVD was lost seasons ago but I stuck with it for Caroline. Now? I don't think I can endure this madness.

Bonnie Bennett is the only interesting character in this show and the only thing that made season 6 bearable. Plec and Dries must really hate the character and the actress to continuously treat her like crap. Bonnie and Kat deserve better than this show.

A good old fashioned boycott

Is what's need to show Plec we ain't playing with her tail. It wouldn't be about BonKai or Bamon, it would be about Bonnie/Kat and how we demand respect and equal representation for our girl. When Plec sees her precious ratings go downhill for two to three weeks, she will see TVD isn't just about her faves.
