Edit: Couldn't help but notice the equally xenophobic tvtropes blurb on this cunt's post makes a completely unsourced statement on R/v/B's lack of popularity in Japan being due to a character's "irreverence for authority" (definitely not because it's just a dogshit show) and that it doesn't resonate with japanese culture, and yet rvv//by, which has main characters that also don't respect authority figures, somehow is supposed to be massively popular over there, so... which narrative is it?
