not surprisingly, tora wasn’t feeling the holiday season, just heartache. she’d skipped the eggnog and just stuck with the rum, which was probably what had brought her back to the old apartment that she shared with him. stepping inside, it was mostly quiet and dimly lit, which had her anxious, was he home? was he here with someone else? the latter would surely break her heart all over again. pausing in the doorway between rooms, she found him by himself, a soft exhale of relief leaving her lungs. the brunette sniffled, crossing her arms over her body. “what’s a girl got to do to get a drink around here?”
