48 and Elijah ?

48 - how festive are they on holidays?

a fair amount!! Elijah always tries to appreciate the holidays, no matter which one it is - from a birthday to christmas, Elijah tries his best to really live in that moment. 

losing his family made him hate any holidays for a while, the happy families on TV and in magazines being salt to his wounds - but he realized that holidays are still magical and beautiful days that only come once a year. 

he’s started to photograph the holidays, capture their magic on film. 

from the bright, decorated streets at the end of the year to the small, hand painted decorations in the window of a bakery during easter.

if Elijah’s around people during holidays now, he’s someone that brings the warm feeling of a holiday with him, but he also understands if someone is not in the mood to celebrate or be festive. 

he’ll gently try to nudge them to feel better, talk to them a bit -but utlimately let them decide what they want to do.

Elijah never really thought about why his appreciation for holidays and his festive spirit decided to show its face again, but deep down he knows it’s because he’s realized that every holiday could be someone’s last.
