Feyre says that very few people like Nesta. Mor says that she's a wicked monster who would thrive in the CoN, and doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. Cassian says that everyone hates her.

Meanwhile, Nesta is out here making friends like nobody's business: Gwyn, Emerie, the Valkyries, Clotho (really it feels like Nesta's befriended all the priestesses except Merrill), Bryce, Ember, Randall.

And then, of course, there's Eris, who wants to marry her after only three dances.

The IC are really the only ones who can't see how amazing Nesta is.

I feel bad for Nesta. For Nesta to constantly have to be around Mor, knowing that she slept with her husband and that Cass loves Mor? That's just cruel of SJM. And then to have Mor join the Valkyries? For Nesta to see Cassian embarrassed of her or what she wants because of a former lover?

Then, there's theories that the former Valkyries may be Koschei's prisoners, which means Tanwyn may come into play and be hanging around Cassian, too?

And when I think about it, I don't think SJM has done this to another fmc. They may meet their endgame's former lover(s), but they don't hang out with them on the daily. Cassian's really the only one who still has any affection for a former lover, from what I recall.

Mor stans will justify Mor being a vicious bitch to Nesta because Nesta's "mean" to Cassian, but Nesta's not allowed to be mean to a male who frequently stalks her, harasses her, insults her, is incredibly cruel and abusive towards her, doesn't respect her boundaries or her bodily autonomy, and almost sexually assaulted her?

Mor can be bitch to someone who "mistreats" her friend, but Nesta can't be a bitch to someone who mistreats her?

Isn't Mor the very definition of a pick me?

She's precided over the CoN for centuries and hasn't done anything to change it or help the women and children being raped and abused. Her inaction is enabling the men of the Hewn City to beat and rape their women and children. In my opinion, Mor needs the CoN to maintain their cruelty so she can feel good about herself and maintain her status as the only "good" person to come out of there in the thousands of years that it's been around. If Mor would actually help the innocent women and children, then she wouldn't be able to claim to be the only victim of the CoN, and thus, she would lose her sense of self-importance.

Mor frequently sides with men against women to the detriment of women.

She's incredibly vicious towards Nesta for no good reason. I know Mor stans will use the excuse that Nesta is "mean" to Cassian to justify Mor's viciousness, but Cassian frequently insults and abuses Nesta, he disrespects her boundaries and harasses her, and he almost sexually assaulted her. Mor sides with the abusive man and belittles his female victim, to the point that she tells the victim that her abuser is a "good" man and that the victim doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. Mor then compares the abuse victim to her abusers while simultaneously praising the abusive man. Mor willfully helps lock Nesta up in the House with two men, one of which Nesta has repeatedly claimed to be uncomfortable around. She sees Nesta covered in bruises and doesn't even care to ask whether or not Cassian was abusing Nesta (which, according to Az, was a definite possibility). Mor told Nesta that they should have dumped her in the human lands to be hunted and killed. Mor also said that they should have dumped Nesta in the CoN, to what: be abused and raped? Mor is constantly siding with the men abusing Nesta to the, obvious, detriment of the woman. Even after Nesta was abducted at night by men (wearing nothing but her nightgown), tortured and violated in the Cauldron, it was Mor who got all handsy with Nesta's dress, not caring how that might re-traumatize Nesta, and then she played the victim because Nesta didn't want to wear Mor's dress. You would think a woman would have been more caring and considerate, but Mor only cares about herself and how she can tear women down to feel better about herself.

Feyre claims that Mor is like a sister to her, but Mor sided with Rhysand against Feyre to the detriment of Feyre. Mor was willing to withhold life-threatening information from Feyre - information that Feyre was entitled to, information that a true friend would have told her - even if it led to Feyre's death. Once again, Mor sided with men against a woman to the detriment of the woman.

Mor is the perfect embodiment of a pick me. She's the most pro-patriarcial female character I've ever had the displeasure of reading about.

When Gwyn was violated, she was taken to the safety of the library, surrounded by women, and offered therapy. No one - especially men - could enter the library without her permission.

When Elain was violated, she was taken to the HoW, guarded by Nesta, while Feyre and the entire IC made sure that Lucien kept his distance and gave her time to grieve and deal with her trauma.

When Nesta was violated, she was taken to the HoW, where her boundaries were repeatedly violated by Cassian, who came to visit every other day without her permission or consent. Her personal space was violated by Mor, who decided to get all handsy without Nesta's consent, even though she knew Nesta had just been abducted, tortured, and violated. Cassian joked about Mor ripping off Nesta's dress when Cassian knew Nesta had just been sexually assaulted mere months before being violated in the Cauldron.

First of all, why weren't Elain and Nesta taken to the refuge of the library or at least offered therapy? Secondly, why was Cassian allowed to violate Nesta's boundaries without her consent or permission, but Lucien had to respect Elain's? Why weren't both males held to the same standard? Why did Cassian respect the consent of the priestesses by not entering the library without their permission, but he repeatedly disrespected Nesta's boundaries? Could you imagine if Az had gone down to the library every other day to check on Gwyn or Lucien checked in with Elain every other day without their permission? The IC would have had a thing or two to say to them... but not Cassian. He could do whatever he wanted, with or without Nesta's consent.

Then there's Feyre's, "Why do you even bother, Cassian?" I'm sorry, but what? Who the hell is ready for a relationship right after being violated? He shouldn't be bothering. Feyre should have been telling Cassian to leave Nesta alone.

The IC taught Gwyn and Elain that their consent mattered, that their "No" meant "No" and that their boundaries would be respected. Simultaneously, the IC taught Nesta that her consent was the last thing they cared about. Her "No" really meant "Yes" if they asked her enough times and bullied her around to it, and her boundaries and autonomy would most certainly never be respected.

The IC have always been so incredibly toxic and cruel to Nesta, while demanding that she treat them with kindness and respect. Cassian and Mor have the audacity to say that Nesta would thrive in the CoN? Someone needs to hand them a mirror.

Mor's supposed to be the one who gifts her love freely to everyone, yet she's over 500-years-old and only has, like, six friends and they're all elite one percenters who rule their respective courts.

Meanwhile, Nesta's supposed to be the toxic, cruel, abusive bitch who very few people like, yet she's only 25-years-old and has always been surrounded by friends before poverty, during poverty, and after poverty. Even during her year and a half of depression, she was hanging out with a group of people every night and getting at least one male (sometimes two) to go home with her. Now she has Gwyn and Emerie, Cass and Az, the Valkyries and the other priestesses, Eris and Helion (who may not be exactly Nesta's friends, but I have no doubt would be Team Nesta if it came to it), Bryce, Ember, and Randall.

Mor's spent months trying to get Vallahan to agree to the new treaty, yet Nesta befriended/saved/made an alliance with a whole other world in about two weeks.

I think Mor's just vicious and nasty to Nesta because she's jealous of her... but that's just my take.

It amazes me how Mor violated Nesta's personal space and boundaries and bodily autonomy by getting all handsy with her dress without Nesta's consent, and then she turned around and played the victim. Getting all handsy with a stranger is not okay. Getting all handsy with a stranger who was just tortured and violated mere months after being sexually assaulted is unforgivably wrong. Nesta could have punched Mor in her face, and she would have been 100% justified.

Mor should just be dumped back in the CoN because she would thrive there. Neither her nor the males there believe in consent. Mor doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt that good people like Nesta give her.

At the next Winter Solstice celebration, Az should gift Nesta some lingerie. When Cassian inevitably loses his mind, Nesta should kindly inform him that he gifted lingerie to Mor right in front of her after kissing Nesta and telling her he wanted to be with her. Then Nesta should hand Az the matching set of lingerie that she bought for him.
