Yes, Sarada is being sexualised in the manga. But she is not the only one. Look how Sumire’s dress is short and she also wears heels ? So, stop saying that Sumire is better than Sarada only because she hasn’t a short outfit, actually this is the same as Sarada, through the difference is she wears a dress who covers her shoulders. Same with Chocho ! She’s basically thicc and her outfit is short too. The girl from Suna wears only a really short top...
I don't ship BoruSumi
Just because I ship MitsuSara doesn't mean I ship BoruSumi. I despise BoruSumi, and I despise Sumire more.
Sumire is just a filler character created by SP just for the sake of force-highlighting Boruto of his existence as a protagonist and it is entirely dim compared to Sarada. Yes, Sarada should have been the main character. Sakura's strength & great chakra control, her struggles as an Uchiha (which is the clan that is the most judged, scrutinized, and fucked up by the elders & other fellow villagers), and Naruto's dream of becoming a Hokage. Sarada is the embodiment of Team 7 and the best ninja to inherit the Will of Fire.
Compare that to Boruto who despises the Hokage, despises the idea of becoming Hokage, and just a brat who runs around hating the fact that his father is the Hokage and doing Hokage stuff (when being the Hokage is the position Naruto had dreamed and dedicated his life for). It simply defies Naruto's original "Ninja Way".
So to make Boruto seem more important, SP just added a filler character to highlight it the hell out of him. But still, it is way far off than Sarada's importance and total existence.
And the most despised thing I despise is that Sumire is somewhat Hinata 2.0 with stolen character, personality, & backstory of Sasuke. Add it also the fact that even though she's a filler, she is related to Danzo, (which is my most hated character next to the attempt SP-character-change of Hinata w/ stolen Sakura's personality & abilities).
So yeah, get the hell out of BoruSumi far, far away from me.
Sumire's filler existence & BoruSumi just got me react like these the whole time:

Lol. At least, she didn’t try to kill him and destroyed Konoha and was everytime here to save him and she is often worried about him. Do Sumire protect Boruto over a Kara Member who is the clone of JIRAYA ?
“I’ll protect Boruto !”. Bad for you, Sarada already did it multiple of times.
I know some people gonna use the argument that “Sasuke also tried to kill Sakura” but hell no this is not the same here. Sumire was trying on her own to kill him and Mitsuki when Sakura tried to kill Sasuke first and she did it because for her, the Sasuke she met at this moment wasn’t the Sasuke she knew. And at least, she finally understand it was impossible so finally she was just thinking about killing him. When with Sumire, she tried to kill Boruto, literally.
I don’t want to be mean, but many people think he blushed because of Sumire here. The only time boruto really blushed for someone in a "more serious" way is when Sarada said his eyes are bluer than Naruto’s. When this dude confessed to Sumire, Boruto was just shocked because it was so sudden. Also, he makes that face very often. The “often-blush” side is from her mom, who literally blushed everytime and was really shy when it comes to love. But with Boruto, it’s not “love” with Sumire. So, take the reason he’s in love with Sumire just because he blushed -when there was literally a lot of people-, you can suppose he is also in love with Denki and obviously with Sarada. He often blushed in front of her. See ?

As if. Don’t forget Sarada is Chocho’s best friend ! This dude was literally a manipulative douchebag, who only liked Chocho whas she was slim. At the beginning, Sarada even supported her and cheered up her, because of the kiss scene. Until she noticed something was off with this dude. She just wanted to protect her best friend !
