Along with cycle 15, this cycle has my favorite top 6 girls

I guess this cycle has my favorite top 6. I don’t particularly love any of the top 6′s though.

I never realized how much I liked cycle 15 until you did your photo rankings. They had some darn good photo shoots! -thatoneanon

Really? I’m the opposite. I hated ranking Cycle 15 because I only liked 2 or 3 of the photoshoots.

#1: Chelsey

Chelsey was totally robbed of first call-out because of the plot lines they were giving her and Ann -- the girl who could never get first call-out and the girl who set the record for first call-outs, respectively. She definitely had the best motion editorial. I can’t find a fault for her. My favorite parts for her are the part where she’s in the chair and flips her hair and her runway walk. Her runway walk had me snapping my fingers in the air screaming “YAAAASSSSS!!!”. I just don’t understand how the judges could justify not giving her first call-out for this.

#2: Jane

I found Jane’s “best takes” to be a bit suspicious, seeing as there were definitely better takes of her used in the actual editorial than in her supposed best takes. The judges made it very clear that they didn’t want her to make it to the finale, so I suspect that Tyra mixed some of Jane’s not-so-great takes in the video in order to justify her elimination. I thought she did great here, though. Her establishing shot gives me life and I love the shot of her in the chair. If it hadn’t have been for the fact that Ann earned her place in the finale long before this, I would say that Jane should have been in the finale instead.

#3: Ann

It baffled me that they gave Ann first call-out for this, though I really shouldn’t have been surprised seeing as they were obviously prepping her for her win. Other than her shot in the purple dress, I wasn’t all that impressed by Ann this week. I also think a lot of people forget that her walk was so bad that there wasn’t a single usable shot of her walking. That alone should have kept her from getting first call-out.

#4: Kayla

I feel bad for placing Kayla last in my call-out, but I just wasn’t feeling her in the motion editorial. I really don’t remember any of her shots from her best takes or the actual editorial. She just fell under the radar for me this week, which was a really bad time for that to happen. I guess she had the best crying shot (I just rewatched it so that I could find something positive), so she had that going for her.
