So I'm looking through old Twitter DMs.....

And this message with me and a friend debating about Steggy post IW. I was actually on the What if Steve were Peggy's husband all along and she brought up Agent Carter spoilers where they were supposed to introduce Peggy's husband in the 2nd season but then it got canceled.

Then Endgame happened and I was good with all the endings....I ENJOYED them. Widow erased all the red in her ledger. Iron Man went out a hero, dying like Pepper told him being Iron Man would end up doing and Steve ended up with Peggy because after all the angst we needed a happy ending.

Until the writers. Until it was said the MCU was based on 616. Until, despite their own rules of time travel, it turned out Steve WAS Peggy's husbsnd all along instead of creating an alternative timeline.

And now I'm just like......did you NOT READ 616? Was it just good luck Agent Carter got canceled and what about that scene where she dumps his blood and says good-bye my darling? What happened to her telling him you can only move forward in WS?

And now I'm like did a high school creative writing class write this?

I know people enjoyed it. I know people are happy with it. I'm glad its kicking box office butt, especially since its RDJ and Evan's swan song. It has NOTHING to do with any ship.

The writers and the Russos opening their mouths, contradicting each other......has actually ruined it for me.
