Also I love the idea of the Amaats feeling hopeful about Seivarden because a lot of them also have dogs. Obviously none of their dogs would dream of trying to play with an officer's daemon (so improper!) but when Amaat Four is trying to get Seivarden to accept tea, her terrier is probably licking Seivarden's dog's face a little bit
aaaaaaaa
terrier omg that’s perfect and adorable
but yeah I feel like it helps her get some degree of acceptance significantly sooner than she would have otherwise. though the swearing also helps with that.
(I wonder if her daemon swears more or less than her...)
Hum, I can see that. That’s not what I got out of it through - to me the missing cue thing was more about “this is not to my taste”. Like most people in the audience absolutely could not hear any imperfection and Klavier knows that but his stuff has to meet /his/ standards, and beyond that he doesn’t care about anyone else’s - so more like the opposite of your interpretation, really. Like how Franziska’s definition of a perfect trial with a perfect victory somehow included 1) concealing evidence and telling a witness to lie about it, 2) obtaining illegal evidence to present to the court illegally and eat a penalty about it if she had to, 3) whipping the judge to allow Phoenix to continue his cross-examination when he was close to uncovering those above??? And Klavier doesn’t /talk/ about perfect trials but he IS a perfectionist, and his perfect trial absolutely includes guiding the defense attorney to victory if that’s how the real culprit gets caught, and also air guitaring. He marches to the beat of his own drum, but that beat he would like to get down perfectly please and thank you.
hey, I just read that 'leche de Pantera' is a popular vintage cocktail in the Barcelona area and I had to tell *somebody*, so as the only Bleach-adjacent blog I know, welcome to this knowledge: Grimmjow's got his very own Spanish mixed drink. It's got gin and condensed milk in it. Which doesn't sound exactly great, but just for the name I'd try it
lmao oh my god. i wonder if it’s any good? i don’t drink alcohol so i don’t even know what gin is like on its own
... gin
gin and milk and pantera okay no i’m not thinking about that ship thanks.
meant to say earlier in response to your tags on something-or-other, crap, I never thought about how Mia would become a lawyer in the Fran-and-Miles-raised-by-Gregory AU. But bad shit is going down in Kurain all the time so she might have had the idea anyway? Maybe Misty disappeared anyway- I spent half AA3 thinking 'disappeared' meant 'Morgan killed her and told everyone she left', so, Mia's storyline would play out pretty much the same. She could be an intern at Gregory's office!
Ooh, good point! I like it. I like it a lot. Plus I can easily imagine Mia wanting to leave Kurain anyway in order to avoid developing the sort of rivalry that Misty and Morgan had between herself and Maya.
I bet that Phoenix and Miles first met her when she started working as an intern for Gregory, and then after she became a full-fledged lawyer she decided to open her own practice. (Greg would have loved to hire her on full time, but he already has Ray as a full partner and it’s not like his office is gigantic, though it is very successful.) Hmm, although maybe she still would have worked for Grossberg for a little while before opening her own office.
Since Gregory would have insisted that Miles and Franziska have a bit more of a life outside of studying law, Miles might still have been in undergrad when Mia was interning with Greg. I wonder what their relationship would have been like? I think they probably would have gotten along pretty well this time around.
Franziska, I think, might have seen Mia as a rival and been determined to defeat her in court some day. Franziska tends to take that approach with all defense attorneys, though.

Hee hee! Aw, thank you!
yo, i dunno if it's weird to send you a message since most of our conversations have been on the 'what if these rockstar lawyers made out' level, but- i really like your cartoons? it always makes me happy when i run across one of your lil doodle klavs, they're adorable. plus, you just made me picture daryan in pink lace panties and i can't even tell you how much that improved my night. so i figured i owed you an encouraging comment in return.
aaaaaaa thank you my dear ( ˘ ³˘)♥ ya so sweet!daryan likes to wear ema's knickers because they fit him so well and they're a lot prettier than his boxers

How's Fran&Jowd go? I imagine her initially dismissive, then observing more closely, then making a serious effort to get Cabs to trade him for Gumshoe. Come on, Inspector, she'll throw in Skye, you'll like Skye, she's whitecoated and sarcastic...
With less headbutting on the surface, I’d imagine, except for Jowd’s scruffy attitude toward fashion which pisses her off to no end. If you’re hardworking and fastidious why aren’t you 100% so, Franziska wonders. What’s with the bouts of nonchalance. Still, he’s good, if a little boorish. Didn’t even try to avoid the whip the one time he deserved it.
(come on, green for green they won’t even notice) (not that Cabanela minds getting Jowd to work closer...)
