Edit: and no, putting in your author's notes that we can just "pretend that it's a reader insert" DOES NOT MAKE IT A READER INSERT. The line is blurry enough as it is, if it's an OC then tag it as an xOC and leave the xReader tag for when you actually write a reader insert.
