subscriptions on ao3 are so crazy. i have 273 subscriptions on this one fic, like wdym 273 people get a little email every time i update it?? that’s so many people. like kudos and bookmarks are one thing, but people who subscribe to your fic are real ones

Just a friendly reminder that no one can see your subscriptions but you. They can’t embarrass you in any way (if that’s what’s holding you back from showing a fic love) but the author can see their total number of subscriptions which is really nice.

omg, so i just got into 50 subscribers on ao3! i know it's not much compared to other people i know, BUT! i was excited for this day to come, it means a lot that there's so many people waiting for all my future silly shit to be put out—and really sweet!! thank u so much! i know i'm not so constant with it, but all my fics are written with all my love and soul. it's one of the things i do best so i put all my effort and feelings on them. watch for new shit to come!
