Okay can I ask wtf is up with the (probably bot) comments I keep getting on ao3 about trans rep? It's always from guest accounts, they start off with praise before BEGGING me to write in a trans or nonbinary character... I get wanting rep but like?? This is fanfic, I'm writing the characters I want to write, the fic I'm getting these on is literally a one-shot with three characters max. And none of them are OCs. The fact that they're all cis dudes is just because I happen to like those characters.

whats with fanfic authors and excessive use of metaphors or comparisons?? i miss simple humble direct writing that doesn't have me cringing on every other sentence and instead makes its way to the sprinkled poetic sentences as a surprise factor that should leave me flabbergasted and devastated. not really a fan of maximalist embezzled writing, i think it's best to write smart than to try and show off your "skills" at every single oportunity, less is always more

People really need to learn how to tag better because what the heck???

It's fucking unbelievable, trying to find a story is impossible now, no matter how much I filter or how many tags I choose, IT IS NEVER RIGHT!!!

Ao3 is not tiktok you can't just tag everything!! And if your tags are so little, at least make them meaningful??

The ao3 advanced tagging system WONT WORK UNLESS YOU TAG RIGHT DAMMIT.
