What are some parts of a character/headcannons unique to your style that is kept consistent in all/most of your fics?

For me, I always make my more human version of Castiel the product of generational wealth. His dad is rich. He grew up in a mansion.

And all of his siblings are half siblings! I hc that Chuck made a lot of bad choices with the fans of his novels, and out came Cas and his siblings. But Cas is the only kid who Chuck has full custody of.

Cas is the youngest sibling! He’s always baby brother.

I also have the generational wealth thing for castiel. Every one of my fics!! they’re rich!!! So so mega rich.. Dean is always poor.

Human! Castiel is adopted and has a LOT of siblings. They’re all adopted from different countries because his ‘parents’ (can change usually Naomi tho) think it’s gods will. The only ones who aren’t adopted and are actually 100% biologically related is Lucifer and Michael. Also they’re mega religious.

Human!Cas is Russian! Gabriel is German.

Castiel is ambidextrous. (Human castiel is a polyglot).

Castiel loves that trench coat and will wear it all the time is his comfort. He’s also an artist most of the time. Or a writer.

Dean Smokes, has tattoos (more then just the anti possession) and still wear’s jewelry. Sometimes if we’re lucky I have him with piercings.

Castiel has moles/beauty marks all over.

I really like the idea that Jimmy and Castiel are Identical twins and kinda codependent on each other. But Jimmy isn’t a very Angel name so I make his birth name Camael (Angel of Tuesday) and just make him have people call him jimmy.

I haven't written a lot of supernatural fics yet, but i have many wips in which i use these headcannons!

Human!Cas wears button-ups and slacks and listens to classical music.

Dean fiddles with his amulet whenever he's nervous.

This probably happens in the show, but Sam often visits the library and hangs out there when things at home get stressful or when he wants to relax for a bit.

Castiel will always, 100% of the time, think he's a freakazoid of nature for loving Dean. He feels guilty about 'complicating' stuff by having feelings for Dean, even when they get together he's still a little hesitant around Dean, since he's afraid he'll come off as too intense.

Cas is the one that fell first!!!!

Every time Cas needs "help" from Dean, he probably doesn't actually need it, he just likes being helped by Dean♡

Jack very much learned to mirror the behavior of those around him, not just because he is autistic but also as a survival technique. Specifically to survive from Dean who very openly wanted to kill him because he was 'different'

Jack had a definite unique personality of who he was, but learned from his environment

For a decent while in the beginning, Dean very openly wanted to kill Jack or at least wanted to banish him or otherwise talked about how dangerous his existence was and how much he hated him. Dean eventually moved past that, and even put effort into making the two of them have bonding experiences. The thing is, every positive bonding experience they had was still on the foundation of Jack knowing that in the beginning of his life, Dean wished harm upon him, and was willing to do it himself.

We saw Sam try to rationalize Dean's anger to Jack, telling Jack that 'that's just the way that Dean is' and that 'it's just because he cares' (excusing abuse, that type of thing)
