There was no reason to be out with all these ladybugs clogging up the streets. At some points, the thick of it got so bad that Rogue had to place a hand on a wall just to keep from aimlessly wandering into danger. That one or two managed to slip under her collar or managed to panic bite her was only to be expected, but she endured and moved along until she was clear of them.

Somehow, she found herself exhausted by the situation and had to rest against the wall that had been her guide. Maybe it was her exhaustion that had caused her to become angry, or maybe it was the way he was standing. When she caught sight of the guy, she could feel her rage burning, consuming her every fiber.

She pushed herself off the wall and closed the distance between them. "Just what are you doing here?" She grabbed his shirt and brought him in close.
